I havn't been to this resort in the winter, only in the summer. If you like to hike it is magnificient. Up above 8000 feet the air is crisp and clear even in the summer. You can hike up the slopes and climb to over 9000 feet. There are horses that roam the top of the ridge and the views... More

If you are not a hard-core skier that goes to Vail, Tahoe, or other skiing destinations, or if only some in your family want to ski, this is a great option if you are in Vegas. It takes only an hour to get to the mountain, at they rent not only skis and boots, but clothing as well. If you... More

Based on other reviews we were hesitant to take our kids skiing here for their first experience gliding down the slopes. We decided to try it when we saw discounted packages online. The prices for lift tickets+rentals were more than reasonable. Without a doubt this was a fantastic experience. We arrived and dropped off our kids in the ski-kids yurt... More

Check the weather often before your trip. The forecast can change quickly sometimes. The resort is very pretty. If you are used to skiing in perfect resorts like Utah or Colorado then you may be a little bit disappointed. This place is not perfect but it not bad either. Caution to new skiers: the slopes are a little bit more... More

If you have kids and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sin City, LVSSR is a great place. We did not venture into renting skis or boards as we lack the appropriate clothing, and renting the whole mumbo jumbo seem a little bit expensive for out big group. We did enjoy hot chocolate and a quick... More

I went snow boarding for the first time and used their complimentary lessons. The instructor I had (Joey) was very nice and helpful and did not make me feel as stupid as I am sure I looked... my friend however did the ski lessons and said her instructor was a complete jerk and acted like she should have already known... Despite the whole resort being advertised as "open" when it clearly was not we had fun. Really there were only two runs which fully were covered. One of the blacks we looked at was not a run and never will be… it was a small rocky valley maybe 30 feet wide, that you'd have been better off and safer with... More

We visited from Hawaii and found this a great place to do a wonderful daytime activity. I didn't like skiing 8 years ago, but thanks to the friendly instructors (Steve and Carmela). AWESOME instructors!!! I enjoy skiing very much now. I got on the skis 2 days in a row, we stayed from open at 9am to 3pm, and I... More

Strip prices have found a new home. $70 for a lift ticket? R U NUTS! No senior discount, and ya get a downsized local resort with hardly any coverage. Those black dots on the snow isn't to help with the flat light..... it's stones..... everywhere. NO SENIOR DISCOUNT AND $70 TICKETS.....They're driving their customer base away! What was I thinking.... More
