OK but not as nice a course as some others in Mesquite

We had a perfectly fine golf round at The Palms. Course maintenance was OK. The Front 9 is visually uninspiring, the Back 9 somewhat more interesting and scenic. The golf carts... read more

I have been playing this course for 25 years. Played there 1-26-16. The course is terrible! As another reviewer stated it has fallen into disrepair after truly being a fine course. I would rate it by far the worst course in Mesquite. I will not play this course again.

A poor course in poor condition. The layout is actually pretty good but the course has been allowed to fall into an ill state of repair and will struggle against other courses in the area while it remains in this condition. I will not be back

We had a perfectly fine golf round at The Palms. Course maintenance was OK. The Front 9 is visually uninspiring, the Back 9 somewhat more interesting and scenic. The golf carts have internal combustion engines (rather than electric), which is not ideal. Everything about the course screams just average to me. I don't know what the greens fees are, because... Not a bad track, pretty ordinary front 9 but back 9 has some character. Equivalent to a nice muni. But the back 9 was so backed up that the round was ruined. The foursome in front of me teed off at 1220 and made the turn at 230. Back 9 took over 2 1/2 hrs. When will courses learn that... More

A good golf course, nothing exceptional but was a good value when purchased as a package at the Casablanca. Front side was fairly standard, not a lot of variety, but the back was more interesting with lots of elevation changes.

This course is good for the ego! Front Nine is flat nothing special...take advantage & try to go low! The Back Nine is completely different. Up & Down with a more desert like feel. Service not great...has the feel of a Muni Course.

The course was in good shape. The back 9 is fun, with some cool hole designs. The front 9 is flat and basic, nothing special. Very underrated course!
