Nice spot for a day outing but beware in the extreme heat.

Went there today and while the water was a cool temperature the actual temp was over 102 degrees. The sand areas are so hot I swear I got blisters just from the sand getting in... read more

If you are not a Nevada resident they charge $15.00 a day. Most places are $10 a day but not in good ole Nevada! Very narrow boat launch and nobody making sure the no wake is actually No wake

Early morning visit before the heat settled in to drive around this new state park. Had a great chat with the Ranger about the park conditions, water level, cleaned up beaches, and widely spaced RV spaces (seriously, drove around the Rv camping area and the place is very spacious).

Went there today and while the water was a cool temperature the actual temp was over 102 degrees. The sand areas are so hot I swear I got blisters just from the sand getting in my sandals. Also bring a trash bag. So many partygoers down river let their cans and bottles float away so we picked up some trash... More

We have gone to many Nevada state parks and have always enjoyed them, until now. We had gone just for a day trip and to have a picnic and enjoy the area. We actually stumbled upon it, and had no information on it. There is a $9.00 fee which you pay at the gate as soon as you enter. We... More

One of the finest RV sites in all my travels and I've got a lot of miles under the axle. Each site is very separate with cabana BBQ and table. Full hook up , and walk to the river.

Beautiful area where you can dip into the Colorado River. The only down side is that it is very busy and there is fee to enter. Other than that awesome place.

Found out about this place from a brochure. Decided to take the hour and a half drive and it was sooooo worth it. The water is crystal clear, and Ice cold. No mud just small pebbles and sand. Pavilions line the shoreline but you have to arrive early to get one. We paid $17 entry fee for a family of... More
