The path leading to the Dam is very nice to run to in the early mornings. The beautiful grassy area and the looks from the park is wonderful. Love running here taking a moment to rest and run back to the casinos. It is less then a 5k -3miles to the park.

Nice dam and the beaches right below it are awesome. Lots of history there. Take the boat ride from Riverside and listen to the narration.

There really isn't anything to do there except walk to the edge and look over the Dam. I thought there would maybe be a place to eat or drink.

Never a boring visit if you like to see and learn about new things, or have an interest in dams. The only thing that would enhance this site would be to have a visitors center, even if it was staffed on a part time basis by volunteers. We enjoy each visit to the dam. There are information boards that provide... More

We were looking for a little break from the casinos and you could see the top of Davis Dam from the Laughlin strip. A short 10 minute ride and we were there. The road was closed but you could still drive into the power plants parking lot and park to take pictures. There's armed security walking around of course, it's... More

Being able to have fun and take the boat trip from the Riverside hotel, and being able to see a Dam in person was a great way to spend family time.

We came across the Davis Dam, while boating down the river. We stopped to take pictures, it was interesting to see it. My boyfriends father worked on building this dam in 1947.

On the way to Bullhead City, AZ to get gas (lowest in the area) we found Davis Dam (8 miles from Laughlin / 10 miles from Bullhead) on 163. The road to cross the dam for cars is closed, but pedestrians and bikes are allowed. Very nice picnic area is attractive. Unfortunately we couldn't find the 'unmarked' road to Grapevine... More
