While on Fremont you will always see the old time come-ons, this is one of them. Skimpy-outfitted girls try to lure players in with a free spin on some confounded huge slot machine. I wonder if anyone ever wins, don't you? Anyways, just a small place but last trip, played some nickel machines that actually pay out coins. We had... More

Go here if you're on Fremont street! This casino is old-style and still accepts coins. We had great luck here (won twice!).

Old school casino. we were given beads and a drink before we even sat at a machine.Hostesses were very friendly and if you tip them they keep asking if you would like another. Machines also give you a go for your money. Definitely worth a look in.

A very small, cool casino with old format slots that actually take and give tokens or coins (in some). Now and again a small jackpot goes. A blast to play like the past. The food concession is always way busy - good cheap snacks - deep fried Twinkies anyone? The bar drinks are great - service is good - the... More

We always stop in Mermaids for their $1.25 Nathan's Hot Dog. Now I am not a hot dog fan but this has become one of our Vegas traditions! They also have deep fried twinkies, oreos and many more deep fried items. Yum!!!

My review for Mermaids last year was not that good because of our waitress denying us drinks because we were on penny machines, which I later found out was not their policy. But we said we would give it another try and we were so glad we did! The waitresses were great and beautful (I am a straight female btw,... More

I don't care if you can get fried Oreos and Twinkies here, they use old coin operated slot machines here, and you have to use a pressure washer and a gallon of sanitizer to remove the nasty gunk and grime off your fingers after playing. This is the NASTIEST place downtown, and I certainly wouldn't go back in to play!

We discovered this gem walking Fremont street. From the huge 1/2 pound hot dogs to the fried twinky its a steal of a deal. We especially liked the frozen chocolate coverd bananas. Most things on the menu are 99 cents!! It is a stand and dine place so dont get scared.

Are you tired of collecting slot machine vouchers? Do you want to her the cha-ching of change? Do you like carnival food? Seriously, stop in here. Also: check out La Bayou across the street. It is somewhere to just enjoy for a little bit & have a snack!!
