Came in here a couple of times, but place smelled like old grease. They had the oil fryers in back for the snack bar. Wife had a deep fried twinkie, which she said was not very good and she wish she never had it. Didn't really check anything out, didn't like the smell.

So, we've laughed at this place before because it's sort of a gambling joke. The drawing tickets the showgirls hand out outside the place for the regular drawings.....I'm not sure anyone has ever won anything. And the games are old, it's dirty, and they used to pay out in nickels only. Now they pay out in a ticket you can... More

We had not been in vegas for about a year but we always stay downtown, and we always make a stop in Mermaids to gamble and get our drink on. This year we brought friends with us and they had never expirienced Mermaids, they enjoyed the cheap gambling and non stop drink service ! This year did not disappoint, fun, great service, and left there... More

This casino still gives you coins from the slot machines! From the mermaids greeting you at the door with Mardi Gras beads to the waitresses handing out free drinks, it's a party atmosphere! The music is loud and gets you excited and everyone is having a great time. You have to try the fried oreos or fried twinkies or both!... More

I have been visiting Vegas since 2004 and always make the Mermaid's casino a priority on my list. I absolutely love this place. Eight of us walked through the door and before we even found a slot machine the waitress was there taking our order for drinks. I even had two (yes two) hand pays within about 30 minutes each.... $1 for either a fried twinkie or 2 fried oreos. Its the best. This is the dingoes most disgusting casino in the best way possible. If you love dive bars this is a great place. Its only a slot parlor but the fried food stand is so good. Its horribly unhealthy but delicious.

I love the Mermaids.... they have "old style" coin operated slots, serve you wayyyy too many drinks, the floors are sticky, there are questionable things going on in the bathrooms. Can't say I've had some of the yummy looking fried foods they serve cause I got way too drunk when I was there. Looking forward to going back in a... More
