Could be a great bar if certain bartenders did not work there

First bar you come to when you walk in to the dive I mean the Rio. With that said you think the staff would be friendly ? One bartender the whole 7 days I was there was friendly... read more

First bar you come to when you walk in to the dive I mean the Rio. With that said you think the staff would be friendly ? One bartender the whole 7 days I was there was friendly, other than that NOPE, could careless if your drink was empty, even if you had 25 people hanging out there and your... More

My wife and I dropped into the ibar to kill some time before Penn and Teller. I ordered two Harvey Wallbangers, and Parker didn't even flinch. Unlike two other bars we had been to in Las Vegas, Parker not only knew the cocktail, but put on a performance that blew the socks off of Tom Cruise in "Cocktails". Great drinks,... More

I sat at the bar to play video poker and drink and the bartender was slow as frozen ice and never checked on me. He decided that it was a better idea to chat with the go go waitress and check his I phone. They can keep this place.

This place is right at the entrance to the Rio Hotel casino, so it's obviously filled with people waiting for airport transfers, luggage, check-in, etc. However, our experience with the staff was the worst I've ever had. The barman didn't even come around our side of the bar more than once every 20 minutes, preferring to chat to some guys... More

Waiters/Performers top notch and very friendly and professional. Less crowded area. Good place to hang out and talk to people and not feel you have to do something. Good place to relax, kick back watch the people busily engaged at gambling. Since I lose at gambling I prefer to spend money on tips for the hard working employees most of... More

The I-Bar is a decent bar at a central location in the Rio. Good music and they have sports on the TVs. Prices are a little high, but the waitresses are cute and very friendly. Much better than the VooDoo, though.

Drinks were very over priced, the bar man was rude & made us feel like we were wasting his time & made us feel unwelcomed. We only went while waiting to see Penn & Teller so if I was you, get there when you need to so you're not hanging around. Great bar in the theatre once it's open.

When we sat down and asked for a liquor list the rude bartender said hey didn't have one and pointed to the pile of bottles behind he bar. Drinks were ridiculously overpriced and the service was stupidly slow. Next time I'm in Vegas I will try to avoid the Rio all together.

Favorite spot to sit, rest, have good Martini's and watch people go by. Drinks aren't cheap here
