We visited the Mix Bar @ The Hotel Mandalay Bay in September. We got there before 10pm (before they charge a entrance fee.), after spending some time at Mandalay Bays other bar, 'Minus 5' (another must if you come to Vegas) The bar has to have the best view in Vegas, you can see for miles, up to the top... more

I read about this somewhere and it was the best tip I got for the trip. Free view of the strip (cost of drink not included). If you go before 10 it seems there is no charge to get in. I wish we had gotten there early enough to see the sun set. There is an outdoor area with tables.... more

The views from here are fantastic. Well worth the walk from the MGM to get here. The lounge isn't in the main part of Mandalay Bay but in THE Hotel. We visited MIX Lounge on Sunday night at 8:45pm. We got up without anyone in line and got a table seat outside on the enclosed patio. There weren't a lot of people and we were served very quickly. My boyfriend and I stopped by for a drink around 9:30pm on November 1st. When we arrived there was no line at the bottom, so we went right up into the elevator, no cover before 10. We went to the Mix lounge early evening and sat outside and watched the light go down and the Strip light up. It was a relaxed atmosphere early evening and we stayed for 2 drinks to take in the view. Must go and visit the restrooms - they are quite unusual ! more

What a beautiful place! Right on top of Thehotel at Mandalay Bay, and 360 degree view of Vegas! It was amazing. Great decor inside and out.
