We had a coupon for a free beer so popped in here to use it. The casino is older and tacky but they have great beer on tap...several kinds. We sat in the sports bar and there was a good clentele. Beers are only 2 bucks! I don't know about the food but see they offer 8:99 steak.

must be the cheapest place for meals in las vegas, one block off the strip we have been coming since 2007 from England it is worth a bus or cab ride, join the casino and get discount of your meal and sure you leave room for the sweet.

One block off the Strip, on Koval Lane behind Bally's, is Ellis Island, It is a small locals casino that feels like it should be downtown instead of off the Strip. Great little casino but it is better known for its dining deals. Steak dinner with beer for $7.99, breakfast with eggs, potatoes, toast for $3.99 as well as other... More

went to this place on Sunday for the $8.99 steak. I was skeptical at first, but I have to say that that this was one of the best steaks I have had. They also had specials for football Sunday, $2 beers and $1 wings basket. Everytime I go back to Vegas I will most definitely be back here.

Visited Las Vegas for 10 nights staying at the Platinum Suites. What luck to have Ellis Island on our doorstep. Great food, fun and friendly. It has a more relaxed downtown Las Vegas feel but with just a short walk to the strip. Would recommend for an enjoyable night out with friends. Will visit again.

I'd read online that Ellis Island was a local favorite with great food at a great price, but actually found the friendly service and locals to be the real draw. After 9 PM, the little bar comes alive with an energetic mix of talented regulars and visitors singing their favorite tunes. Even I, bolstered with some liquid courage, decided to... More

Ellis Island is a great little locals casino that has some of the best food deals in town. The place looks a little outdated which is why they don't get a 5 star rating, but they make up for it with the food. The place is home to a wonderful cafe with cheap food and the best meal in town:... More

Great place to have a reasonably priced and great tasting meal and a great little bar to sing your heart out. Family had a blast.
