I stopped by Ellis Island to try some of their beers and play a little video poker. Manny the bartender was very entertaining and kept me happy. I ended up walking out $90 bucks richer. Good place, I'm going to back for the BBQ and beers next time I'm in town.

Went to the Ellis island diner in the casino & brewery on a recommendation. It's old style Vegas and a lot if locals eat there.. Went on Sunday morning and it was busy, so had a 15 min wait for a table. The waitress was very helpful and suggested the steak & eggs special at $5.99. We had coffee (free... More

I hit a small jackpot. I think one dollar to $250. It did not pay off. I pushed the button for service. NO ONE CAME for 15 minutes. I got called for dinner, stood up and whacked the machine...oops...it tilted. The staff "ran" right over and "voided" the payout. Saying I tilted the machine. Which I did. BUT....I will only... More

Short walk down Flamingo from the strip, make a right and you are there. Get the steak special that's not on the menu.... I liked it so much I have gotten it for breakfast substituting the included craft beer for a root beer. It's not a Smith and Wollensky steak house but it is a great deal for the money.... More

There aren't many places left on or around the strip that aren't high-end, fake, and the same. This place is great. It's got character that made Vegas great.

This is a real old style casino, that you can play and have fun with low bets, instead of the main ones at the strip. The beers... They are awesome and really cheap. There you can find restaurants with reaaally good food and for a really good price. And at the bar you will have a Karaoke that will make... More

Our friends who stayed at the Wyndham Grand Desert took us to Ellis Island for the steak meal. Well worth the walk off strip for this awesome meal. We did not gamble, but if you sign up for the free Player's Club card you get $10 of free money to gamble with. They have lots of other deals as well... More

We ALWAYS stop in to Ellis Island when in Las Vegas and the place NEVER disappoints! Awesome food, and the price is a real deal, like Vegas of yesteryear. If you are amused by bad-is-good karaoke, this is the place(sorry Salt Lake City Mormons, Brigham Young was wrong, Ellis Island is The Pace). For you people watchers, you won't be... More

15 mins walk from MGM signature ( where we are staying). Gave this a go as fancied trying the local brew. Advice is to get a members card as soon as you get there (free). This entitles you to steak dinner for $9 and $10 free gambling, plus other benefits as you play. Food was very good value for the... More
