We did the sunset ride with barbeque at the beginning of November. The horses were well looked after and quite lively. Our guide was Ernie who was great and the trail was just under 2 hours with dinner and camp songs following. For dinner we opted for the chicken which came with beans, salad, baked potato, corn on the cob... more

September 2009. We did the Sunset Ride and BBQ. What an awesome adventure. The tour operators were very friendly, we were picked up on time and dropped off close to our hotel. We had a beautiful ride and a wonderful meal afterward. The steak was absolutely delicious. The cowboys then sang to us as we roasted marshmallows, a little corny,... more

Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed this ride. We are from the Midwest, so the rocky terrain was very different from what we're used to. We felt very safe on the horses as they are obviously used to it. Our guide was Robbie, who was very polite, very friendly and really took care of us. We found his little white mule... more

14 Mar, 09 We were picked-up promptly as promised, comfortable ride to the ranch with a friendly driver, wonderful scenery in the riding area (we took the morning rim ride), attentive wranglers, well cared-for horses. A bit pricey. Excellent overall. more

They knew their stuff, made sure everyone was ok on the ride. Nathan had his eyes on everyone and made sure he was close to whomever was havin problems. My horse kept side kicking other... more

We went on the morning Rim ride and it was great. We were a group of 5 women, ranging in age from 21 - 50+, with only one of us having real horseback riding experience. We were picked up promptly from the hotel. We found the staff to be helpful and courteous, concerned about matching the horses to the riders,... more

The website says there would be smores and western history and a poem or song around the campfire. The truth is there was no dessert -- only Hawk the rude wrangler sitting at the fire with us telling a story about his wife and asking us to ask him questions. There was no poem or song, just Hawk passing his... more

We went to Cowboy Trails very excited about our supposed 5 hour WOW ride. After a brief orientation we were given our horses and were off. The horses followed each other inches apart. If you fell a couple feet back the lead wrangler would shout at you to "catch up". This would have been fine if the horses got along... more

This is a special thank you to the wranglers at the Cowboy Trail that made our vacation in Las Vegas the best we ever had. My husband who has never ridden a horse in his life had one of the best times in his life and now he loves horses. Next time when we come to Vegas we will book... more
