We were looking for an inexpensive dinner and found it at the Market Street Cafe. Had baby back ribs for $8.99 and also Hawaiian style ribs for $8.99. Both were very delicious! Would definetly recommend this restaurant if you want a lot of food for little bit of money.

Have been staying at this hotel/Casino for a few years. Comfortable rooms and fun casino. Friendly staff and knowledgeable dealers. 24 hour live keno. Great players card deals.

Venture here occasionally when downtown. Had breakfast at Main St. Station and took the bridge over as they are sister properties. Usually a quieter atmosphere when compared to other casinos. Wall of fame contains names of craps shooters who've held the dice for an hour or more. Quite unique. Hope to try Redwood Grill as it seems appealing. They mostly... More

This friendly hotel caters specifically to folks from Hawaii as the staff is dressed in Hawaiian garb and the food served in this casino hotel is mainly Hawaiian cuisine. One of the most popular is the oxtail soup at the Market Street Restaurant. The staff here is as friendly as the native Hawaiian folks unlike the Strip casinos where the... More

not too bad, but a bit of a crowded layout, and older feel. Dealers do not seem to talk----kind of a bummer when you are looking for some interaction.

They have all of your old favorites at this place. Very few new slot machines. I looked all over and didn't see many at all. The waitresses don't come around very often for drinks either. I ended up going somewhere else.

Being married to a Hawaiian, we have been staying at the Cal for years. Always love the Aloha spirit. The slots have always been fairly loose too. Always a plus!

The Cal is another no thrills/Boyd Gaming style of casino, that primary caters to the Hawaiian tour package groups and culture. However, what they do provide is excellent food in large proportions, friendly and good overall customer service and is located in a good location. Although University of Hawaii football fans have not had much to cheer for lately, they... More

I really like this place and her sister properties downtown (The Freemont, and Mainstreet Station). The staff is always nice and glad to see it's customers. I stayed here for the first time in 20 years. It was reasonably priced and a fairly standard room. Not too many frills to mention. What I appreciate the most is the staff, but... More
