It may not be the most glamorous mall on the Strip but Desert Passage has, probably, the best selection of shops you would actually buy stuff from. There are a number of restaurants, from fast food to casual dining.

This mall is so beautifully decorated that you really feel like you are transported to Morocco or somewhere exotic like that. Plus they simulate a thunderstorm with rain, thunder and lightening. Very interesting. The mall has some beautiful and interesting art galleries too.

Great choice of shops and eateries with a free attraction also, the Rainstorm was great to watch. The downfall was the stand with timeshare salesmen that is positioned close to the exit, you need to be assertive in your response if you are not interested as they are very good at what they do and quickly have you hooked

I did not get to all of these shops, but the ones I did go into were very nice. Of course, the prices were high as well. The art shop is a must see, and even though it is generally 80% off, it is still offputting.

We went to this mall 2 times during our recent trip to Vegas. The mall has a theme to it, and is supposed to look like an exotic marketplace in North Africa (or so the brochures said). We found the location very accesible being in the middle of the strip, so getting there was an easy walk from our hotel.... More

We thought that the Desert Passage looked like a cheap cousin to the shopping areas found at other casinos on the strip. The rainstorm was interesting but other than that - - not impressed.

Neat indoor shops. Art galleries. Reasonably priced shops compared to Forum and Grande Canal. Also Max's Cafe...the best unadvertised deal on breakfast serving from 7-10AM.

We visited the Desert Passage Shops in May 2004. Compared to those at Caesar's & the Venetian, they were very poor. They tried to get the same ceiling effects & failed miserably. The shops themselves did not impress.
