Description: From humble beginnings in small UNLV college clubs to late night T.V...
From humble beginnings in small UNLV college clubs to late night T.V., Purple Reign has risen to international acclaim and recognition as the world’s #1 Prince Tribute. On November 17, 2008 the group became the 1st ever tribute/impersonator act to appear as the musical guest on Late Show with David Letterman. That show was chosen by CBS and Late Show to ring in the New Year and re-aired January 1st, 2009 at 12:15am (New Years Eve) less than 45 days later, making it the 1st musical performance of 2009 on Letterman. ‘09 also saw Purple Reign crowned "Best Tribute Act" by the 28th annual Las Vegas Review Journal Poll, winning 2 awards by both the staff and readers. Purple Reign captures the imagination and seamlessly re-creates the blistering performances and raw energy of Prince in his prime and returns you to the era that made "The Artist" an international superstar. Featuring a tribute Morris Day and The Time, this show is a must see for Purple Rain movie fans and all live music fans alike!

The show was amazing!! Last time I watched it, it was still over at the Boardwalk and it was a phenomenal show then but now that its been revamped and moved over to the West Gate it just got better. The show featured Prince, Morris Day, and Jerome impersonators that nailed it 100%!! They even have a bit of comedy... More

I would have easily paid twice to see this show! The music and singing were spot on and the venue, although small was very good. The only negative was that they had one person behind the bar and they needed 2 or 3.

We saw this show at the Westgate. We bought tickets at one of the Tickets Tonight booths on the strip. We paid 35.00 which was about a $20 savings off box office price. The show was very entertaining and the music was spot on. The guy that played Prince was great and humorous at times. Morris Day and Jerome made... More

It was okay. The one thing that i did not like was the theater it was small and out dated. The show was fun and entertaining. They do a good job interpreting purple rain and atmosphere was fun. All and all it was good.

I saw the actual Prince in concert about a year ago when a friend asked me to go. While it was entertaining, it lacked a certain energy and interaction you would hope for. Another friend invited me to see Purple Reign and I gotta tell you that I was reluctant. I mean how could could this Vegas tribute show be... More

I'm 88 years old. My 47 year old friend took me to the show. I was thrilled to see him enjoy the music that brought back so many memories in his life. My 50-60 year old children also have found memories of the music of Prince. The volume level was great. The music was very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing... More

We are both huge Prince fans, and so were quite looking forward to this show. Unfortunately it was simply too loud to enjoy. We appreciate that this kind of music should be loud, but there is a limit, and unfortunately they crossed it. We left after 40 minutes becuase our ears couldn't stand it, and just went to gamble instead.
