Description: From humble beginnings in small UNLV college clubs to late night T.V...
From humble beginnings in small UNLV college clubs to late night T.V., Purple Reign has risen to international acclaim and recognition as the world’s #1 Prince Tribute. On November 17, 2008 the group became the 1st ever tribute/impersonator act to appear as the musical guest on Late Show with David Letterman. That show was chosen by CBS and Late Show to ring in the New Year and re-aired January 1st, 2009 at 12:15am (New Years Eve) less than 45 days later, making it the 1st musical performance of 2009 on Letterman. ‘09 also saw Purple Reign crowned "Best Tribute Act" by the 28th annual Las Vegas Review Journal Poll, winning 2 awards by both the staff and readers. Purple Reign captures the imagination and seamlessly re-creates the blistering performances and raw energy of Prince in his prime and returns you to the era that made "The Artist" an international superstar. Featuring a tribute Morris Day and The Time, this show is a must see for Purple Rain movie fans and all live music fans alike!

I saw the actual Prince in concert about a year ago when a friend asked me to go. While it was entertaining, it lacked a certain energy and interaction you would hope for. Another friend invited me to see Purple Reign and I gotta tell you that I was reluctant. I mean how could could this Vegas tribute show be... More

I'm 88 years old. My 47 year old friend took me to the show. I was thrilled to see him enjoy the music that brought back so many memories in his life. My 50-60 year old children also have found memories of the music of Prince. The volume level was great. The music was very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing... More

If you love PRINCE, you won't find anyone that has his performance better than this dude. He is AWESOME and the band is great musicians as well. The whole act is quite steamy at times, but hey its Prince right... Love this show. PLEASE come back to Phoenix!!!!! Melekai T.

We are both huge Prince fans, and so were quite looking forward to this show. Unfortunately it was simply too loud to enjoy. We appreciate that this kind of music should be loud, but there is a limit, and unfortunately they crossed it. We left after 40 minutes becuase our ears couldn't stand it, and just went to gamble instead.

If you are a prince fan this show is a must. Everything about the show is pure fun. He even did requests and even knew the the B tracks. Amazing performance; you actually felt like you were in the movie itself in many ways. I can't comment on the venue; the last show I went to was in Planet Hollywood.... More

I'm not a Prince fan, but my husband is and he LOVED this show. The musicians were amazing! Our only disappointment is we paid an extra $10 for VIP seats and we were seated at the same table as people with regular tics. Visit the half price booths on the strip and get a huge discount for this show.

I am a back in the day, die hard Prince fan. You can't be good, you have to be great to impress me. I AM IMPRESSED!!!! Jay is an awesome musician and is spot-on as Prince. The band is talented and Morris Day and Time is sooo entertaining. This is a must see performance at a reasonable price. Since 2008... More

The performer is like a little red corvette, I love the imitation, it is solid and very entertaining, I would go again! Local likes it, its good, I have seen it all.....a little cheesy, but worth the effort if tickets are cheap or free.
