We wandered into this exhibit of bronze circus sculptures and were mesmerized! Amazing sculptures of beautiful dancers, gymnasts, acrobats, mimes. I really meant to go back and regret not having done so. Also some great videos showing the artist at work. We were actually so inspired that we walked over to the box office and bought tickets to a Cirque... More

Living in the Carmel-Monterey area, I am familiar with the work of Richard Macdonald. His work is displayed in here in his Carmel gallery, and a studio in Monterey. In fact, his 15-foot tall bronze sculpture of a golfer is displayed nearby at Pebble Beach. However, while standing in line to get our Cirque de Soleil tickets at the Bellagio... More

We'd never heard of Richard Macdonald, though I understand from his sales director that he is currently working on a life-size piece for the Royal Ballet here in the UK. He specialises in bronzes of dancers and acrobats (hence his association with Cirque du Soleil) and his work is graceful, exciting and full of energy. Well worth seeing, the exhibition... More

Well worth a look, very interesting and beautiful work on display. There is a gallery space on the way to Aria or at Bellagio at the O Theatre.

I loved the gallery, the sketches, paintings, and to walk around in the space made me see how talented and creative Richard Macdonald work. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable and all his work is for sale. When you're buying your tickets,... More

The Richard MacDonald Gallery is in the lobby of the O Theater located in the Bellagio. His works celebrate the beauty of the human form and its ability to express light and life. During our visit we were fortunate enough to meet Richard MacDonald when he showed up to the gallery on business. The works are for sale and I... More

After an amazing evening at the O concert I had to return to the hotel to view the most emotional visual art of Richard MacDonald. His work captures all the emotion and beauty of our evenings performance - so much so that his work made me cry. I have only cried by certain music before so was quite embarrased but... More
