I fly quite a bit and see the inside of many airports. The airport at Las Vegas is a little above average; not quite as good as Sacramento, Seattle or Portland. The layout is easy to work through and the security line about average. The Southwest staff are very helpful and the boarding process very smooth. The number of flights... More

Airport is easy to find and get to. Rental car takes some time because it's located off sight. The staff at Starbucks near gate B17 are rude. The gate was half closed. When I asked if they were open she looked at me like I was an idiot and gave a snide remark. Simple close the gate if you are... More

I live n Phoenix and it used to be so easy to take a quick flight to Las Vegas. Jump in a taxi and be at your hotel10 minutes later. Now if is a huge ordeal no matter what you transportation is once you get there. Driving there next time for sure. It will be faster. Let get some more... More

I had a 3 hour layover from 8:22pm- 11:05 pm and it was miserable! One would think that a las Vegas airport would have tons of places open, well not the case. Restaurants were closed and even the fast food restaurants closed at 9pm. Not to mention there is no place to comfortably charge a cell phone. There are minimal... More

Not a bad place to be stuck in for a layover or to wait out the flight. Security is a breeze, and there is tons of restaurants and shops to occupy your time.

This airport is well laid out, and easy to maneuver through. Like the idea that you can recharge your phone in several places and wifi was free! Taxi drivers are something to be aware of. Our trip from the airport to our hotel on the strip was $30. plus a $2. airport tax! Funny, I didn't see or hear anything... More

As a Las Vegas local, I have been to McCarran - for both myself and to pick up friends - hundreds of times. Getting around McCarran, and parking in McCarran, is smooth. If you are picking up an international traveler, and will be going inside to do so (in order words, not waiting outside for them to come to the... More

I don't normally do reviews of airports, but thought I would on this one because it is quite interesting. I really liked the fact that there are several places for recharging your phone, and I never had any issues with the Wi-Fi signals. Lots of food options but do some comparison shopping first. We had Burger King and the Large... More

What a nice modern airport, really close to the strip so a taxi ride to any hotel on or near the strip will be under $20
