Worst hotel ever stayed in our lives. Staff were not interested in service or guests. In fact customer service was disgraceful. Facilities very tired, not clean, excuses for everything. Quality of food - unacceptable. Food service staff disinterested. After 10.00 at night most food service areas closed and if you want room service then even for the smallest of requests,... more

The deluxe room did not look like the hotel photo accommodations at all. Lighting of the hotel hall ways are dim, the blankets are thin and appeared unclean. We called the front desk twice to discuss our concerns. First call we requested a suite, because of our disappointment of the room front desk stated there was none available. Unsafe for... more

lI have been in some bad rooms in Vegas, but this one makes a Motel 6 look like a Radisson. Let me first say that we did not have the problems with waiting in the check-in line like the other reviewers mentioned, and the staff seemed pretty friendly. Good first impression, but then we got to our room. Upon entering... more

I didn't stay in this hotel, but we did gamble in the casino on our last morning in Vegas. The positives were that the staff was very friendly and the slots paid frequently, if not in high amounts. The casino seems very old fashioned and really needs to be updated. The decor is worn, there stench of smoke permeated the... more

I went to the Sahara during the evening on December 29 with 4 of my friends. We were in search of cheap gambling and lots of drinks. We found plenty of both. After walking through the casino in search of a table we could all sit down at and play together, we came upon the "'60s Party Pit" and this... more

We spent the night of 2/25/07 at the Sahara. We booked there because it was low cost, we were only spending one night, and it was on the Strip. The room was clean and quiet and everything was in working order. Breakfast was average. All the employees we had contact with were friendly and helpful. The elevators worked. I read... more

This is probably the first review I've ever written for a hotel I've never stayed at. I won't even pretend to have an opinion about the hotel rooms, as I've never seen them. However...we went a few weeks ago to see the Amazing Johnathan perform at the Sahara. The show was okay (though if you've seen a clip on YouTube... more

Nice room--- upgraded to a "deluxe" just for the asking. Paid $55 midweek rate. Other party stayed at the older tower (they have 3) and said it was not as nice. Casino was average-- actually expected a little more. Spent $4000 casino dollars on their club sahara card--- never given comp one while there but did get offer in mail... more

We were in the casino and the buffet in May '05 and were amazed at how rundown and dirty the place was. The buffet is not up to par with the other large casino resorts in Vegas in both selection and quality. Surely they have plans to remodel in the near future. more
