The very north end of the Strip is set quite a bit apart from the big cluster of hotels farther south on the Strip, and my husband and I walked all the way up there to check out the Riviera. It was not worth the walk! We were hoping for some low-key gambling, since these casinos seem not to be... More

I don't really gamble, but we wanted to just sit at a bar and have a few drinks, so we stopped at the Riviera Casino. They have $1 draft, $2 bottle, $3 well. Good music inside and it felt like classic Las Vegas atmosphere inside.

This was our first and last visit to The Riviera. The only good part of the stay there was the self check-in and the size of our suite. The staff was not helpful, the windows both opened fully (we were on the 9th floor with a four year old,) the window casing in the living room was unfinished, the sill... More

I was in town for to take my national dental hygiene boards and stayed at The Riviera. The front desk employee was very nice and friendly. We chatted while she checked me in. She also was very kind and upgraded my room. It was a wonderful room. King size bed and a view of the beautiful pool area. Only issue... More

dirty, grimy but so so cool. We only spent about 20 mins here and only played the virtual craps machine which none of the buttons worked but is was great because it is such an icon placed that you recognise from films. Pop in enjoy it for a minute, take a photo then move on.

Vera was at check in was extremely rude and unhelpful as was Isabelle. The room (upgraded) was half way decent but compared to a motel 6. The pool was decent but lacked a hot tub. Happy hour at the steakhouse was nice. I would definitely not stay here again

Stayed at the Riviera last minute for Memorial Day weekend and had a great time without incident. Worked all day saturday and sunday and hung out a night. The bartenders hooked it up and just all around good time. Will definitely be back.

I booked a room for one night to experience the nightlife in the original strip. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed, the room was too far from where they had told me I would be staying, the pool was too small. The room was with old, ugly decorations. The arm chair was broken, the sheets smelled. The bathroom didn't even provide toilet paper... More

The Riviera is but a wisp of what it used to be, but still has lots of slots and $1 Blackjack. We stayed, we played, we saw the Forever Doo Wop show that we thoroughly enjoyed.
