I wandered into this venue to meet some friends who were newbies in the casino world and wanted to get some black jack experience playing at a $1.00 table. The Riviera boasts of their "One Dollar Tables" all over town so they figured "why not?". Well I can give tell you "why not". I was dropped off by a cab... More

We have gone here on and off for the last 30+ years. We manage to leave a few dollars in every place we go up and down the strip and do not expect to win, but do expect to play for a while before the house wins. Accepting this, it is just as easy for us to have a good... More

We walked down to this end of the strip to check out some of the older joints and were nearly attacked in each direction by timeshare people, even inside the casino. We asked where the taxis were and we were told to walk to circus circus. The casino had table games and was older but still an average casino but... More

I knew the Riviera is old and did not expect much but it did not even reach those expectations. Unlike Circus Circus which is also old, the Riviera is awful and the staff unfriendly. We only stopped to gamble and walked out after a few hands of Black Jack. if the hotel even resembles the casino.....

Riviera casino is home of the $1 blackjack table. but don't expect to get on a table there is only one and it is normally full. but I went to a $5 table and still had an amazing time. Dealers were very nice and friendly, even joked around with us.

You get what you pay for for $24 per night. Hotel is old, needs updating. Casino area smells of smoke. (Stayed at TI on another visit and didn't realize people could smoke inside until 2 days into my trip). Showing signs of age. Room was clean (thankfully) but the facets dripped and leaked, carpets didn't appear to be vacuumed (found... More

Small venue and laughed from the time he opened till the end! If U R 40 it will be much more entertaining. The guy is spot on and makes U realize how funny it was to grow up a few years back.

This was only my second time ever to Las Vegas. My first time, in 1997, my husband (now in heaven) and I went to Siegfried and Roy. Their show is, alas, no more, but in looking for things to do, I found out about Dirk Arthur's Wild Illusions. I booked our party of five (myself and two of my adult... More

We spent New Years Eve in Las Vegas Blvd. This is the 12th year we have parked at the Riviera valet, gambled, drank and hung out there. It was FUN! Great cocktail service, loose slots, party favors. Being a local I always plan on doing Vegas Strip on NYE. Riviera makes it easy, accessible and Fun!!!

If you're staying on this far end of the strip, these are the only 2 within a stone's throw of each other. Nothing notable to speak of here - I did win at craps table. Disappointed they didn't have a poker room or any baccarat. They did have lower table limits than Circus Circus late at nite tho. Maybe good... More
