Ended up in Las Vegas for a convention. I have been to Las Vegas dozens of times and usually stay at MGM Grand. I had only been to Fremont on one occasion when travelling for business and diverted downtown to check it out. It was fun the first time and just as lively this week. You can while away the... More

It was our 4th visit to Vegas and we finally decided to head to Fremont Street for the experience. We started at the Golden Nugget and while we enjoyed playing Blackjack poolside, we couldn't wait to get back to the Strip. If you're looking for the "old Vegas" feel, Golden Nugget is the best place for it. The casino seems... More

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Golden Nugget. Strongly suggest purchasing the upgrade to the "Rush Tower". Lovely rooms. Nice eating establishments, very nice pool area, easy check in, super location on Fremont Street. Great deals on food and drink. Fremont Street area is much better value than the strip.

Ironically, my 2 favorite downtown locations are the Golden Gate and Golden Nugget Casinos, which are next to each other. The Golden Nugget is clearly the most impressive casino/hotel in the Fremont experience area and is in a league of its own. They have done many renovations to the hotel in the last couple of years to a place that... More

I totally felt like Id stepped back into the old Vegas days. I swear I could feel the Rat Packs presence when they were playing their music. The card tables were less intimidating also. Loved it here.

My husband and I have been playing at the Nugget since 1994. We stayed at the hotel as well in past years, on multiple occasions. We arrived this year, knowing that we would need a new player's card due to an upgraded sytem, and went immediately to the player's club area and got in line. We were with two friends... More

We found a great deal on Black Friday for $40 a night for Golden Nugget. While, it was adequate, we were disappointed that a hotel of this caliber would nickel and dime their guests for things such as a chaise lounge by the adult pool, in-room coffee, and gym access. We were in the Carson Tower which is old, but... More

We book 2 rooms, conjoining, which was nice! The POOL is AMAZING and had soooooo much fun! Beware, drinks at the pool are spendy!!! Expected more from the buffet, we ate breakfast, overpriced and selection was smaller then most Casinos. Staff was helpful and friendly! The water leak in our room(wet carpet) wasnt great, but the leak was in the... More

If you seen one casino, you have seen them all. The one thing the Golden Nugget has is class. They make sure are comfortable when playing any of the games.
