For the past 9 years, I've had three or four to Vegas each year. Two for business and one or two just to relax. I have hosts at Four Queens, Mandalay Bay, Fremont and others, and had previously spent only some time at The D (or the Fitz a few years ago). Yes, the guys from Detroit have made significant... We stayed at the D last week in premium corner king and standard king rooms, both facing away from Fremont. Check in was quick and we were able to get our rooms a few hours earlier than the stated time. Both rooms were very clean and quiet and we couldn't hear the Fremont music (no complaints there!) The premium room... More

My fiancé and I have always liked old vegas so we decided to stay there this trip. We walked through the d last January and were impressed with the looks of it so decided to stay there this august. What a mistake. We booked a king room and upon check in we are told that there are no king rooms... More

Being from Michigan we hear the ads all the time for this place so we had to check it out and were not disappointed, the dealers talked to you and were very friendly. The place is clean and the wife even said she would not mind checking it out to stay at next time to Vegas and we are main... More

What I DO like is the easy access to the upstairs from Fremont Street via the outdoor escalator. Also, if 'old school' slots are your thing, i.e. actually putting nickels and quarters in a machine, then this is your place too. Otherwise, downstairs has incredibly annoying, loud music that drowns out whatever game you are playing. They are trying very... More

We appreciate the feedback from your recent experience and we'll be taking your comments into consideration. We have our Vintage Vegas Casino on the 2nd floor which offers a completely different vibe from the first floor. We're glad you enjoyed the coin operated slots upstairs, they are a lot of fun! Thank you for the review. More

I normally have a great time playing BlackJack at this casino. But lately everytime I join the "FreeBet 21" table I get nothing but attitude from one dealer in particular. her name is Rachael she is an older lady. I went in the other morning after i got off work and when I sat down this dealer pointed to sign... More

Every local and long time visitors that are familiar with the downtown Fremont Experience will immediately mention what a great job the owner has done with its many recent renovations. When this building was called "Fitzgeralds" it was considered to be a complete dive/bottom of the barrel location. The have a very good bar called "Vue", have endless party pits... More

This is the casino that was formerly Fitzgerald's. I guess we hadn't been on Fremont Street since the summer of '12, so we did not know that Fitzgerald's had been renovated/renamed. Overall, we thought the inside of the casino had a very clean fresh look (something you don't see much of in the downtown area). We were impressed that they... More

Stayed at the nugget but hated the place so much spent more time at the D. The casino floor was small but the staff was nice and the place was clean and inviting. We will be back in 6 months and will stay here.

We didn't stay there, but the casino floor is cool, youthful and vibrant. A big plus was the bar, which had just about every MLB game going at the same time. (Making it a great place to hang out when you're taking a break from gaming, if you're a baseball fan.) As other reviewers have said, the place is LOUD.... More
