We went into this casino to do some gaming. We obtained a players club card and sat down to game. That lasted all of five minutes before we left. The background noise (music) was incredibly loud...way too loud. Won't go back as there are plenty of other choices in downtown.

The casino is an exciting part of the old strip We saw a murder mystery show there and it was fun. They did a great job. Funny thing was I won the murder mystery and solved the mystery. They gave us tickets to another show and a plaque. It was a fun night and they had a nice casino to... More

Frankie Scinta show was a terrific entertainment value for the money. He is a good singer and very witty. Loved his impression of the Cowardly Lion and Ray Charles.

A person traveling to Vegas' worst nightmare is, "your room isn't ready"...when they are tired and just want to settle in and get going on their vacation. Well, this happened at check in at The D. I came back and was able to get into a room when they requested I return, although it wasn't the room type I'd requested.... More

Played craps for quite a while in the casino. Dealers were friendly. Even won some money! Waitress came around frequently for our drink orders.

The casino is located in downtown Las Vegas on Fremont street. Small casino, but the ambience is great and the min bets are lower than on the Strip. It's great to combine it with a visit to Fremont street in the evening where there's a lot of street activity.

The biggest problem our group had was that they sat down and filled a $15 min blackjack table and it took nearly an hour to get a drink. That's no way to keep players, and they all left angry at the whole poorly serviced incident. The dancers who are also possibly dealers not dealing at the moment (as they were... More

1 night I did buy a drink on the outside bar on fremont. It was a great drink. Another day, I thought I would go in an explore, it smelled bad. Real bad in the casino floor. It was awful we walked out.

I consider this a heroic effort to breathe new life into an old Vegas hotel. It's one of the last holdouts (until Feb. 1) against the odious "resort fee". The price quoted was the price I paid. Parking was free for hotel guests, as was wifi. The room was spotlessly clean, crisp sheets, new decor. Sure, it's a little noisy... More
