It was the Labor's Day weekend. perhaps it was the worst time of the year to be going to anywhere, especially a spa. i've never seen a spa so packed before. the sauna/utilities room were so packed (3-6 people per utility) that one felt unhygienic to be sharing the space with so many people, let alone relax. Every seat in... more

I don't know WHAT people are talking about--this was one of the nicest spas I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot of spas). Yes, it's big and the hallways can be sterile (it's a hallway). And it may be tough to find from Venetian but we were staying at Palazzo, so I can't speak to... more

The entrance to the spa was hard to find. There are no signs or directions whatsoever. When we finally found it, we stood in line for 20 mins only to be eventually directed down a very long walkway to check in to the spa. Its like a mile of walking just to get to the spa. Then we spent another... more

The whole point of my visit to the spa was to introduce a friend to some badly needed self-indulgence. He is practically allergic to the idea of hedonism, and my goal was to demonstrate that pleasure for pleasure's sake is a good and necessary idea once in a while. Of course, a well-planned trip to Vegas (he'd never been) is... more

I was there during the Valentine's Day weekend - My first disappointment was finding the spa through the maze of the Venetian Hotel – I scheduled a message/facial – The message was okay I’ve had better for less – The facial was the worse I have ever experienced in terms of the lack of facial treatments – limited to non... more

I stayed at Palazzo hotel in this December and one of the reason I chose Palazzo was because I wanted to go to Canyon Ranch Spa. I went to website, checked reviews(mixed reviews here), but I thought to give it a try. It was a good idea for me to call them before the hotel reservation, because then I knew... more

My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo the week of Thanksgiving. We purchased a package that included admission to the Canyon Ranch Spa for every day of our trip. I didn't know what to expect, but hoped to be able to spend an hour each day at the spa (to limit some gambling losses...LOL). I was amazed at the... more

I traveled to Vegas last week to hang out with my parents b/c my dad had a conference at the Flamingo. My husband purchased a spa package for me at the Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian for my 30th birthday, and my mom decided to buy the same package so we could spend all day together at the spa.... more

The email I just sent to Canyon Ranch is below. I wish I ad read many of the reviews on this site. This spa is a waste of money and is just using the Canyon Ranch name. Skip it. I recently returned from a work related trip to Vegas and would like to share with you my experience at the... more

On a recent stay at the Wynn in Vegas - and after eating too much for too long! - I decided to buy one of Canyon Ranch's day passports to be able to use their gym and gym classes, steam, shower facilities. The passport costs $35. I could have used the Wynn's gym for $25 but I figured that Canyon... more
