Description:

Royal Links was built to honor the rich history and tradition of the game...

Royal Links was built to honor the rich history and tradition of the game of golf. Designed by Dye International, this links-style course features holes inspired by eleven different British Open rotation courses, including the Road Hole and Hell Bunker from the Old Course at St. Andrews and the Postage Stamp from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale.Monuments were erected at various locations throughout the golf course indicating the spots where great moments in British Open history took place. A Champions Wall stands near the all-turf practice range honoring American champions of the British Open.

Golfers may choose to engage the services of a professional forecaddie adding to the "Scottish" experience. These forecaddies are knowledgeable about the history of each hole, as well the location of the 108 pot bunkers, some of which are hidden. Walking caddies are also available and are required for those who choose to walk.

Royal Links was recognized as the "Best Course in Las Vegas" in the 2006 Review Journal "Best Of Vegas" poll and one of "America's BEST Courses" by GolfWeek. Located less than 20 short minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the castle-style clubhouse hosts a nationally recognized golf shop, which was ranked as one of "American's Best 100 Golf Shops" in 2004 & 2005 by GolfWorld Business. It is stocked with name brand apparel, equipment, quality art and collectables. The shop also offer rentals of the Callaway X2 HOT clubs and FootJoy shoes.

The clubhouse is also home to Stymie's Pub, an authentic re-creation of a British pub, serving traditional fare like fish and chips, bangers, as well as breakfasts, salads and sandwiches. An on-course beverage cart service is also available. An English style call box is available at the 9th tee, providing golfers the opportunity to order lunch as they make the turn, or to have the meal delivered to them on the course.

Adding some gaming excitement to the round, Royal Links offers a "Beat The Pro" challenge for all golfers who wish to test their skill against course personnel on a Par 3 "closest to the hole" contest for merchandise credit in the golf shop. Royal Links Golf Club is also features the ParMates program, a female caddy service that was designed to add a unique extra experience to your round of golf.

It had been 15 years since last playing this course. During that time, they have dropped the forelady approach. Clubhouse and bag drop is very nice. Restaurant was OK but pricey. Course was in great shape for the middle of Winter; they had eliminated some of the deep heather, opening the course cup a little, but the fairways were very... More

The Royal Links Golf Club in Las Vegas, ( a Walters group) is one of the best and most interesting places to play golf , especially if you like links golf or want to fantasize about playing on one of the"old courses" in the world. This 18 hole course will cost you $99 to play. The service from the caddies... More

Think you've got game? Prove that theory here. One of the most consistent, flat out tough tracks I've ever had the delight to swing away at. Target points seem benign, but they're just not. Diabolical pot bunkers lurk everywhere - a linear dance of avoidance is supremely necessary. Two shot escapes may run as high as 1 in 3 (for... More

Playing golf in Las Vegas is a treat, but playing at Royal Links in Vegas is a wonderful treat and a must. I played there last week for the first time with my son while on holiday. It is an experience not to be missed for any category of golfer. The design is 18 of the best links holes in... More

Course was immaculately presented and the holes were definately distinguishable as memorable holes from the Open venues!! Staff on site were excellent, and as said already, the course was immaculate. I couldn't believe how receptive the greens were considering they were lightning quick!! Wouldn't hesitate to come back for another visit!!

Very nice and very difficult track. Links style golf. Bunker are dangerous. Can easily lose 2-4 strokes if you are lucky enough to get in one. Staff was very good except for pro shop. Have gone once or twice a year for several years, and consistently great ! great to use a caddie as well, Cadillac and the caddie master ( Jeff ? ) being the best, although the " par mates " are fun to look at, a real caddie is worth the effort if you are there to golf and no party... More
