The course was recommended by our hotel as we were looking to spend tops of $150 per person on a round of golf - apparently this course is a more reasonable option as other local courses to the strip can cost $400-$500 a round which is ridiculous. The welcome in the Pro Shop is second to none and the staff... More

$90, 20 minutes from the strip. I had a voucher to play here for $75 and discounted club rental I got from a taxi. I presented this in the pro shop, but he said that was only available in the afternoon and as i was playing in the morning it was not valid; this was not clearly stated on the... More

I will be honest I came in with some apprehensions not sure that I would like the golf course. I am familiar with several of the Las Vegas golf courses and was under the impression this was nothing special. Boy was I wrong! The course is gorgeous, lots of green and the fusion of green grass with desert landscape is... More

Being a Vegas local, tend to shy away from the area where this course is located.. But the courses location in no way is represented by the outside area.. The most notable thing about the course is the greens.. They hold long irons very well and roll very true.. For a low handicapper that is all you can ask for..... More

Visited Las Vegas with friends in mid April 2012. I wanted to make sure I got a round of golf in. Booked a couple of weeks earlier to get an early tee off time ($89). We stayed at the Venetian and the taxi ride was around 15 mins and $20. I was met at the door and my cart and... More

We golfed here for the first time in April. Arrived early for a twilgiht tee time (2PM), straight from the airport and they offered us the first tee early (1:30) at the booked price. Welcome in the parking lot and in the pro shop was wonderful. Course was in very good shape. It feels like resort golf and the holes... More

Teed off at 7am and after hitting a few balls at the double deck range we headed out. Course was in great shape and greens were nice. I have nothing bad to say about the course for $90 I would play it again for that price! We were running a little behind at the turn and the Marshall got us... More

Fun, but challenging. Greens were fast. Staff in pro shop were great. Made us feel welcome and provided a positive start. This course pushes through the players. Expect a foursome for every start, a bit stressful . Several areas of this course are noisy, with heavy street traffic, right next to the hole. But we had a great afternoon and... More

did not want to go to Bali Hai because of the price tag, but will consider it in the future based on the experience at Desert Pines. the course is impeccably maintained, the staff is very hospitable, and if you are golfing several times in a week, there are discounts to be had. loved this course. I golfed this course on Friday March 23rd, very nice course but I think the management needs a lesson on how to treat their customers. After golfing the front nine and making the turn on 10 we were harrassed by some guy who was the ranger? He asked us how if the group ahead of us was doing OK as... More

Dear Roger, Thank you very much for your review of your round at Desert Pines on Friday March 23rd. It sounds like you had a nice round, playing in 4 hours and 15 minutes on a well conditioned course. Your concern about our LOD (Leader of the Day) which many would call our marshal is well put and will be... More
