Does not hurt to stop by while walking up and down crowded Strip in the evening. It only erupts at certain hours and usually gathers quite a crowd, but nothing superspectacular as any other free Las Vegas show.

As good as Bellagio fountains, a volcano that dances to music and you can feel the heat from the street, Fantastic show especially as it's FREE!!.

This was a fun and exciting show that the crowd goes wild for. Come by early as viewers will be packed up as close as they can be to the fence. Best part? It's free!

Just returned from Vegas. Spent one evening just walking the strip and checking out the free street entertainment...were disappointed that the Mirage volcano is not currently working and the TI pirate show looks like it is permanently closed.

The short and sweet of it is the following: Is it the best show on Earth? ... Definitely not. Is it a cool free show worth seeing? ... Definitely yes. Don't miss this free, iconic fixture of the Strip; especially, if you're a LV first-timer.

The first time I saw it I was a teenager. This time I took my kids there. They were so impressed by it. Be there early to get a good spot, if you have kids, it's a good idea to stay a little bit away because the effect could scare them off.

I saw the last performance of the night as I was walking up the strip after a show and I must say it was definitely worth seeing. Actually looks like a real volcano and you can feel the heat of the fire which is nice on a cold las vegas night
