Description: Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s...
Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s first indoor skydiving facility built in 1982. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving guests will earn their wings and experience bodyflight during a simulated skydive experience in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The experience is similar to skydiving with the addition of a mesh trampoline floor and foam padded walls. Guests are able to simulate the freefall aspect of skydiving without the use of an airplane or parachute. Our mission is to provide a safe and memorable indoor skydiving experience to the general public, understanding that everyone will learn and grow at different rates, adapting to the ability of the flyer, and to encourage their development by sharing our love and knowledge of flight. We use a vertical wind tunnel to introduce guests to the sport of indoor skydiving. The tunnel produces enough wind to support the weight of an average adult. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving, each flyer will attend a brief training class, suit up in all the necessary flight gear, then jump in the tunnel and fly. The entire experience will take about an hour. The wind tunnel itself is about 22 feet high from the trampoline floor to the top net. The whole tunnel is 12 feet across. The fan is a DC3 propeller that is powered by a 1200 hp electric motor.

The family flew into Vegas on our way to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We wanted something exciting to try before heading out of town and were able to get a 10am reservation for indoor sky diving. It became the highlight of the trip for my 11-year-old and his 14-year-old cousin. That is all they talked about for the rest... More

I have always wanted to see what it felt like to skydive, but never had any desire to jump out of a plane. This gives you the feeling of falling without the fear of your parachute might fail. I can't wait to go again!

Great fun, good staff. Vegas pricey of course but worthwhile. Don't bother getting tickets from your concierge, you get nothing for the extra charge. The feeling of flying is truly exhilarating, you get three turns at about a minute of "flying". It felt safe with lots of preparation and discussion beforehand. The instructor had great control of the flight at... More

I recently visited Vegas Indoor Skydiving with a group of friends and had a wonderful experience. I was a tad apprehensive about what to expect, but the instructor did a great job coaching everyone though all the steps and making the process super easy. It was super fun and we all had a great time. I would definitely recommend this... More

First...nothing to be afraid of. No feeling in the least of falling and definitely no feeling and doing an extreme sport. It's just plain ole' fun to be floating in air. My wife is extremely claustrophobic and she was able to put the suit and helmet on and stay in the chamber and have as much fun as the rest... More

It was a one of those hangouts with friends when you don't know what you are getting yourself into and I can definitely say now it was a great experience. Lots of emotions, it's hard to describe especially when you know what free falling feels (I have done skydiving before). This is an absolutely different experience and it's fun! The... More

When my 12 year-old relative came to visit we took him to this place. I checked them out thoroughly before going which included looking at their insurance coverage and asked many questions about safety. Everything checked out and I couldn't have been happier. They have mostly young, well-trained people running this place and they take you in small groups of... More
