Description: Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s...
Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s first indoor skydiving facility built in 1982. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving guests will earn their wings and experience bodyflight during a simulated skydive experience in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The experience is similar to skydiving with the addition of a mesh trampoline floor and foam padded walls. Guests are able to simulate the freefall aspect of skydiving without the use of an airplane or parachute. Our mission is to provide a safe and memorable indoor skydiving experience to the general public, understanding that everyone will learn and grow at different rates, adapting to the ability of the flyer, and to encourage their development by sharing our love and knowledge of flight. We use a vertical wind tunnel to introduce guests to the sport of indoor skydiving. The tunnel produces enough wind to support the weight of an average adult. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving, each flyer will attend a brief training class, suit up in all the necessary flight gear, then jump in the tunnel and fly. The entire experience will take about an hour. The wind tunnel itself is about 22 feet high from the trampoline floor to the top net. The whole tunnel is 12 feet across. The fan is a DC3 propeller that is powered by a 1200 hp electric motor.

These guys were professional, courteous, and made sure each participant felt safe and had fun. My 12 yr old does not like amusememt parks or things like roller coasters and I wanted to show him that sometimes it's fun to try new things just to see if you enjoy them or not. I did skydiving with him and we had... More

Visiting Vegas on business and wanted something to do in my downtime. This was a great choice! You don't get the simulation of the drop from the plane but you do get the wind. I want to do skydiving for real but nervous to do so. This was ideal because it prepped me for what it would be like and... More

The experience is fantastic and the staff are extremely competent. Book for the middle of the afternoon and you may be lucky enough to have the whole tunnel to yourself (they do at most 5 people at a time; we were a couple and had the whole flight time for both of us alone).

Vegas Indoor Skydiving-what a great experience! Staff were awesome, very nice, upbeat, informative. My instructor was Chris, such a nice person and a great instructor. Equipment given for flight was in good condition & clean. Facility was clean as well. I would totally recommend doing this in Las Vegas & would love to do this again,

This place is amazing. We brought our 9 and 11 year old boys to Vegas for the first time and discovered Vegas Indoor Skydiving trough a google search of things to do with kids in Vegas. By far, this was their favorite adventure. The facility is clean and welcoming, with a convenient parking lot right out front. We read on... More

For $75 each, we got to try something amazing. We all left with big smiles on our faces. I'm a 47 year old mom and I went with my 24 and 21 year old kids. Read up on things like weight limits before you go by visiting their website. They will have you step on a scale. We got lucky... More

Expensive, but we'd go back! The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Mom went with them. Dad was a few pounds over the 230 pound weight limit. The kids expressions when they were in the air were well worth the money spent. Who says that Vegas is not for kids???

Thank you to all the staff and especially his flight instructor DOUG, for well explaining everything to Julian and taking good care of him. This is a kid friendly location and not just for adults. Thanks again DOUG!! Next time we are in town I will make sure we go do this again.

I took 15 people here for a team building event, and while only about 5-6 at a time were in the room flying at a time, they all trained together, talked about the experience, had a blast, and enjoyed the time. Afterwards we went for a meal and that was perfect. This is a room with a large plane engine... More
