Description:

Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s first...

Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s first indoor skydiving facility built in 1982. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving guests will earn their wings and experience bodyflight during a simulated skydive experience in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The experience is similar to skydiving with the addition of a mesh trampoline floor and foam padded walls. Guests are able to simulate the freefall aspect of skydiving without the use of an airplane or parachute. Our mission is to provide a safe and memorable indoor skydiving experience to the general public, understanding that everyone will learn and grow at different rates, adapting to the ability of the flyer, and to encourage their development by sharing our love and knowledge of flight. We use a vertical wind tunnel to introduce guests to the sport of indoor skydiving. The tunnel produces enough wind to support the weight of an average adult. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving, each flyer will attend a brief training class, suit up in all the necessary flight gear, then jump in the tunnel and fly. The entire experience will take about an hour. The wind tunnel itself is about 22 feet high from the trampoline floor to the top net. The whole tunnel is 12 feet across. The fan is a DC3 propeller that is powered by a 1200 hp electric motor.

This is great way to spend a couple of hours during the day before the night life starts - especially as it is sure to get your heart racing just a little. And, this is family friendly for those that are traveling with young kids or older parents. The staff are fun and keep the experience lively - an especially... More

My friend and I both had this on our bucket list. Our wives would never allow us to jump out of an airplane so this was the next best thing. We were walk ins but I would always suggest booking ahead. We had a great instructor which made the "sky diving" more enjoyable. Be patient as only one person at... More

I went to Vegas Indoor Skydiving Sunday, January 24, 2016, alone. A fantastic experience: the staff, very professional and prepared, before it gives you all the advice and explanations on this type of attraction. Then it starts a small preparation. Subsequently you wear all the equipment, including flight suit, goggles, gloves and helmet and you enter in the wind tunnel.... More

Our 3 kids attended the class. 13, 14, 15 years old they did perfect. My wife and I watched through the glass and took pictures. They each had a blast. Their instructor was a blast and full of energy, Brandon is his name. I would recommend this to all ages of thrill seekers.

What a great experience and instructor. Leah was our flight instructor and she was excellent. I had my kids and grand kids with me. She modified each flight to make sure they were comfortable with what each could handle. Good up front training. I would recommend this to anyone. One down note. They need to revise their check in procedure... More

Our entire family went, including my 8-year-old and 5-year-old daughters and my husband and I (both 40). The instructors were extremely friendly, and knew what they were doing. They provided simple instruction which was easy to follow. In the wind tunnel, each person got 3 turns to fly and the instructor kept us in position and helped us do simple... More
