Description: Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s...
Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s first indoor skydiving facility built in 1982. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving guests will earn their wings and experience bodyflight during a simulated skydive experience in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The experience is similar to skydiving with the addition of a mesh trampoline floor and foam padded walls. Guests are able to simulate the freefall aspect of skydiving without the use of an airplane or parachute. Our mission is to provide a safe and memorable indoor skydiving experience to the general public, understanding that everyone will learn and grow at different rates, adapting to the ability of the flyer, and to encourage their development by sharing our love and knowledge of flight. We use a vertical wind tunnel to introduce guests to the sport of indoor skydiving. The tunnel produces enough wind to support the weight of an average adult. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving, each flyer will attend a brief training class, suit up in all the necessary flight gear, then jump in the tunnel and fly. The entire experience will take about an hour. The wind tunnel itself is about 22 feet high from the trampoline floor to the top net. The whole tunnel is 12 feet across. The fan is a DC3 propeller that is powered by a 1200 hp electric motor.

This place is amazing. We brought our 9 and 11 year old boys to Vegas for the first time and discovered Vegas Indoor Skydiving trough a google search of things to do with kids in Vegas. By far, this was their favorite adventure. The facility is clean and welcoming, with a convenient parking lot right out front. We read on... More

For $75 each, we got to try something amazing. We all left with big smiles on our faces. I'm a 47 year old mom and I went with my 24 and 21 year old kids. Read up on things like weight limits before you go by visiting their website. They will have you step on a scale. We got lucky... More

Expensive, but we'd go back! The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Mom went with them. Dad was a few pounds over the 230 pound weight limit. The kids expressions when they were in the air were well worth the money spent. Who says that Vegas is not for kids???

Thank you to all the staff and especially his flight instructor DOUG, for well explaining everything to Julian and taking good care of him. This is a kid friendly location and not just for adults. Thanks again DOUG!! Next time we are in town I will make sure we go do this again.

I took 15 people here for a team building event, and while only about 5-6 at a time were in the room flying at a time, they all trained together, talked about the experience, had a blast, and enjoyed the time. Afterwards we went for a meal and that was perfect. This is a room with a large plane engine... More

Recent family visit from overseas with 4 vouchers purchased months before and a call to ask questions about the attraction. Was told to "just turn up" which we did only to be told they were booked out. Not only were we upset but the service was blunt and rude. Only when we ask about the vouchers we were told they... Can't express the professionalism and FUN value of this opportunity to experience skydiving indoors at a much less intimidating distance to the ground. All five kids asked to do it again immediately upon exiting. As a parent it was fun to watch from the viewing chamber and see them master the skills that they had learned in the short demonstration.... More

So fun! Tony, our dive guy, was engaging. I was slightly nervous because I was a bit hungover and was concerned it would upset my stomach. On the contrary, the dive made me feel wonderful. Tony spun around to my delight. It's worth 75 to experience something you've never done before. If you are on the fence, go for it!!

This was one of the best times I've ever had and I'm 51 years young! The price was a small fee compare to the amazing feeling of flying. OMGosh!! So much fun!! The instructor was a really fun guy and he made us all very comfortable. we'll be back in a year for the International Builders Show and I'm already... More
