We went up the Stratosphere simply to do the rides. at $29 for the view and 3 rides is pretty steep though ($14 for tower alone). First was the Big shot (up and down on top). This ride wasn't much different to any other drop type rides I had done before, except for the rides height. There was only 2... More

We got married on top of the Stratosphere and it was fantastic! I would highly recommend this for an upbeat wedding! Ask for Pete to officiate. Just at dusk and said the I do's while strapped on the Big Shot. What a ride. The only down side is you must remove your eye glasses which is so not needed, but... More

Your hotel has awful service. I arrived at 1am on the 9th. I had to wait almost 10 minutes after arriving in valent for the bellhop. After he arrived, I went to your check in desk where there were three employees working the desk, one customer being helped by an employee, and myself and another hotel guest being ignored by... The view was awesome. I went on The Big Shot while there was a lightning storm going on in the distance. Needless to say I got more than my money's worth. It was quite a thrill. To top it all off I met a girl on the observation tower and brought her back to my room that night. It was... More

We stayed at this hotel during the first week in December and had free passes to the tower. It was really enjoyable up there, very quiet and great views!! My husband went on all rides twice - once in the daylight and once at night. He enjoyed them all! I would recommend a visit to the top.

We went up the Stratosphere tower at night. It cost $14 for adults just for the ride to the top. The rides are extra. Elevator is very fast. We went up at about 9 PM. No lines. Just about 20 people up there. Great views. Good for photos. Gift shop up there. Other than the view, the rides, and a... More

I went there at 11.30 pm on a Saturday night and the overall atmosphere was shabby. The good part is that there was almost no wait time. Note: The security and elevator people working there at that time of the night were acting very "strangely". That being said, in my opinion, the view from the top is not worth the... More

I highly recommend going up to the observation deck of the Stratosphere tower at night, so you can see the strip and Freemont Street lit up. I found the views breathtaking, and it gives you a prespective on how big Vegas actually is! It cost approximately $10 to go up (if I remember correctly). They have information posted on plaques... I made an it a mission to stop here and stand on top of the highest building west of the Mississippi (or whatever) and found out that you have to pay $14 a piece to go up the elevators to the top!? Total [--] if I've ever heard it. My husband and I were infuriated, so we stopped to grab... More

We,would never stay here again. This was are 4th stay and it gets worse all the time.First of all our room smelled like sewer water;we called the front desk several times and nothing was ever done about the smell(#3-16-21).The bath tub would not drain ,and when it did it was very slow and backed up into the bathroom sink.
