after reading reviews on this hotel & the so called dodgy area i was pleasantly surprised at the good quality of the hotel & the surrounding area, yes you do get the odd wino asking you if you have a spare dollar, but if you just say no sorry, they are verry polite & wish you a nice day,we had... more

We had lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed the view. You see all viepoints as the room spins a 360 over 80 minutes. It really is an awesome view, very relaxing and the food was a solid "B". The rest of the complex was pretty dated. more

I visited the top of the Stratosphere Sept. 22 2009, and 8 years before that. Way better the first time. The area of the Stratosphere just is really run down and so is the actual tower. I just found it not to be worth the $15 you pay to get to the top. If you want to go on any... more

The Stratosphere Tower provides a cheap way to stay on "the strip" if you can't afford one of the other hotels on the stip but as it is at one end of the stip, it is some distance from the main hotels and (due to the heat in Vegas) you'll probably need to take a bus or monorail to see... more

We came here to see the view and the rides. One ride was shut anyway so we just paid for the view. Not all that - as most of the hotels in Vegas are huge anyway you get good views from your windows with no extra charge! This is also in a horrible seedy part of Vegas - would not... more

I only stayed here because my friends were not arriving until friday night and I couldnt afford alot of the other hotels by myself. My room was cool. The bathroom was extra small, i could barely close it without getting behind the tiolet first.... more

paid $35 each for tower entrance and 3 rides. The view at the top is lovely over vegas. The rides are a disappointment. The big one shoots you up the spire and is the best of the lot. Of the others..Insanity is a very tame spinning chair ride which is suspended over the end of the tower...but still very dull.... more

First, it is nice to have something to do with teenagers in Vegas. Second, the view from 1000 feet up is spectacular; especially at night. And if you have any fear of height or of amusement park rides, the three rides on top of the Stratosphere (Big Shot, XScream and Insanity) could be life changing for you. But, unfortunately, for... more

Worth a trip up the tower to see the view of Vegas, but give it a miss if you don't like heights. more
