We took our granddaughter here for the day. I think my husband and son-in-law had more fun playing with the mechanics that she did. There is a castle and pirate ship, complete with costumes, that the kids can play in and climb on. Three floors of wonderful things for kids from babies to teens.

Great place to take the family. Lots of hands-on fun. Love the in & out privileges and covered parking too. My 4 year old had a blast and we will be back.

My 2 & 3 year old had an amazing experience here! They did almost all the activities from the 1st to the 3rd floor. We are just visiting here and went to another museum prior to this one, but i think for travelers who think about visiting the Discovery Children's Museum should consider making it the only stop for the... This is a new facility, executed very dramatically with great potential. The downside to the great exhibits and hands on experience is the lack of follow through regarding the education of the physical laws, science behind the activities. Expensive

We took our 2 and 4 year olds and they loved it! Three floors of fun activities. You could spend a whole day here! On the first floor they have a big climbing structure, a nice play area for toddlers, a dramatic play area with a stage/costumes/castle/pirate ship and a water play area (which we saved for last!). The second... More

It's a great place. My 4 yr old loved it. Plenty to do and see. Water area was really fun. My daughter enjoyed it a lot. The day we went. There was 3 school trips which made chaotic. But that's to be expected. Would certainly recommend.

Brought my 2.5 year and 9 month old. Not that geared to the 9 month old though there was a small enclosed crawling area for him that he was able to play around in for a while. My 2.5 year loved it on the other hand. Although a lot of the activities were for slightly older kids the things she... More

ok..don't go if you have kids 8 or above. They will get bored fast and waste your money. The exhibits are more geared to younger children. Cons 1...Food We have been to a lot of children museums and with the exception of a few, all of them have pathetic dining area and what food are there are barely eatable. Yes,... More

My 4 year old grandson visits once a year from NY. The first place he wants to is this museum. His favorite activity is playing on the pirate ship. It enables him to use his imagination and be very creative.

We visit Las Vegas 3 times a year and always stop by the Discovery Children's Museum. My 5 year old son loves it there and has a blast every time. A variety of things to do there from climbing, playing with hands on things, to crafts. We're there for at least 4 to 6 hours every time. The staff is... More
