Just finished 4 days in Vegas. These dealers and floor personnel were the most friendly and fun during the entire trip. It has a great vibe to it. I had some great luck in the sports book. It is a smaller book, but no crowds and open space. Not sure on comps. Not much of a slot player.

This is one of the smaller casinos on the strip, and that has a lot of advantages. It's not as noisy as some, the service is good - from the pit bosses and the waitresses. The dealers at the craps tables are endlessly patient with the rookies and everyone else - they keep the games moving, but don't leave you... More

My wife and I went in to see what the casino was like. We did research it on the internet but we're convinced and just really want to check out what it looked liked. It was very bright. It didn't necessarily look bad but the smell was completely, & I mean completely over- powering! Whatever they were pumping through the... More

I was a little worries when a friend said he'd booked the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas after having visited the casino a while ago when it was old and tired. After the re-modelling, it's light, bright and welcoming. The rooms are amazing - think light, bright rooms with shutters - very colonial. The casino area may not be to... More

If you want to gamble - walk across the street to the MGM or NY NY. This place was remodeled, but lacks in games available and don't bother buying a pack of smokes, you'll get plenty of smoke walking though this place. On a side note. I smoke!

This beautifully redone casino is bright and clean, but the player's club did not want my play bad enough for me to stay. Apparently I had a card 4 years ago, so I was not eligible for the promotion. There was no other reason to be at the Trop, which is small by Vegas standards. We won't waste time going... More

We were greeted by a red carpet that let us know that this hotel cares about its guests. When the door opened, a beautiful tobacco/coconut type scent hits your nose and let's you know that they didn't want to be a typical cigarette smelling casino. It made me feel like I was on vacation in the tropics! Once inside, the... More

This is a "middle of the road" casino. It is VERY close to McCarron Airport. It has a walkover bridge to the M.G.M. Grand. No Nightclubbing or (good) shows. No gourmet restaurants worth noting. The buffet I did not try. The coffee-shop serves some rather nice dishes. I recommend the "Lobster Mac & Cheese Lollipops." Disconcerting to some is the... More

We didn't like the feel of the Casino.... hardly anyone there. Machines don't pay or let you play long before taking all you money. Their promotion, the "First $200 is on us" is a joke. Drink service on Casino floor is horrible and when you get one yourself at the bar, you'll be shocked at the price! They charge double... More
