The hotel was awesome for our convention/expo. The pit bosses, croupiers and dealers were all wonderful, t but the problem is the place is lame. In my opinion part of going to casino aside from liking crap, is wanting to see a lot of action and hot women and sharp dressed people, whether you are man or women, single or... More

The casino at the tropicana is at the other end of the strip, quite far away from where we were staying. They drew us in by huge signs stating that the first $200 was free. So we went on our last day. I have knee problems, and it was already aching by the time we got there. The first $200... More

We asked if they had any free upgrades available and they said yes they did! So we got a corner room in the Club Tower with stunning views on 2 sides, on the 11th floor. The linens are all white and felt very clean. The furniture was cute too, and didn't feel dated. I really liked the artwork in our... More

Used to stop here on each trip since decades have passed. Most of Vegas changes too quickly, not this dump. Went to a decent comedy show here a couple of trips ago. It was very good. Decided to maybe play after, but the atmosphere is horrible. Valet service was very slow and burned-out cocktail girls need to get the lead... More

I stayed here for several days for a business trip in June. The room was very comfortable and had a large desk to work from. If the hotel knows you are there for business they will put you in the tower that is close to the meeting rooms. That way you are very close to where you need to be... More

Just finished 4 days in Vegas. These dealers and floor personnel were the most friendly and fun during the entire trip. It has a great vibe to it. I had some great luck in the sports book. It is a smaller book, but no crowds and open space. Not sure on comps. Not much of a slot player.

This is one of the smaller casinos on the strip, and that has a lot of advantages. It's not as noisy as some, the service is good - from the pit bosses and the waitresses. The dealers at the craps tables are endlessly patient with the rookies and everyone else - they keep the games moving, but don't leave you... More

My wife and I went in to see what the casino was like. We did research it on the internet but we're convinced and just really want to check out what it looked liked. It was very bright. It didn't necessarily look bad but the smell was completely, & I mean completely over- powering! Whatever they were pumping through the... More

I was a little worries when a friend said he'd booked the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas after having visited the casino a while ago when it was old and tired. After the re-modelling, it's light, bright and welcoming. The rooms are amazing - think light, bright rooms with shutters - very colonial. The casino area may not be to... More

If you want to gamble - walk across the street to the MGM or NY NY. This place was remodeled, but lacks in games available and don't bother buying a pack of smokes, you'll get plenty of smoke walking though this place. On a side note. I smoke!
