Stayed at Luxor 12-15 Oct. Check-in was easy (but I was in VIP lane). The "regular folks" line was lenghty. The hike to the "west tower" elevators took 3 of us to the farhest side of the casino--this was the thing we liked least in our trip. The room was average, clean but in need of updating. I had read... more

I booked my stay through Hotwire and upon arrival checking in was smooth. I upgraded my room to a tower room for an extra $20 a day for a so called " Deluxe room". I guess I would have to see their non deluxe rooms to actually know the difference but I was not impressed. Room was not vacuumed. bathroom... more

We also played at Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, MGM Grand, Tropicana, Bellagio, Ceasar's Palace, Pallazio, Mirage, Stratosphere and probably more I can't remember. We found that the Luxor had the best atmosphere and always ended up returning to it. We played Roulette, Texas Hold 'em, Craps and slots. more

From June 3-5, I got to stay in the Luxor pyramid, on the 8th floor, room 093. It was a trek from elevator bank 4. The room was as described by others on this website. My room faced the Excalibur's backside. Accomodations were adequate, bedding comfortable. Yes I do agree it was dark in the room and the ac had... more

Gambled for 4 days at the Luxor, and never, ever won a single dime. Went to Downtown Vegas and won $7000 on a slot machine on my last night in Vegas. I would not advise gambling at the Luxor under any circumstances. Even if you are staying at the Luxor, don't gamble there. It is the only casino in Vegas... more

We stayed in the luxor in july 2008 together with our 2 kids. We stayed in the Tower which was newly renovated and very nice. We had a pleasant stay but the rooms were not cleaned the first 2 days ( no clean towels etc.) I called roomservice and they immediately send someone to fix it. If we go to... more

The Luxor was extremely good value for money. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and courteous. Everything that you could possibly need are under the one roof. Only fault we could find was that the pyramid rooms are in need of a re-vamp but we upgraded to a tower suite for $50 a night. Tower suite... more

Stayed at the Luxor 2 nights last week. Stayed in the East Tower, 6th floor. Very disapointed in the bed and linens. Hard mattress, flimsy blankets and sheets. These days the beds are much better at all other spots. I know the casino wants you out of your room and down on the casino floor spending (losing) your money, but... more
