We stumbled on the Bleu Wave Cruise by chance. We initially paid and boarded the MS Dixie, but had to disembark due to a problem with their main engine. The MS was nice enough to give us a free boarding pass for the next day, but were unable to use it as this was the last day of our trip.... More

We had planned one of the paddle wheel ships however they weren't available and we tried Bleu Wave and we are very glad we did. The crew was very friendly and helpful through out. This started even before we got there. Brittany called us from the office that morning saying the parking lot was going to be packed at the... More

While on vacation in the Lake Tahoe area, we wanted to take a cruise to Emerald Bay. We decided on the Bleu Wave since it was on a smaller boat with fewer people. It was easy to move around the boat for great photo ops. The crew was awesome--even handed out cookies on the way back from Emerald Bay. It's... More

We took the 2 hour lunch cruise departing at 11am. The boat was at capacity with 49 passengers, but we never felt crowded or deprived of a view. Needless to say, I spent the entire cruise on the top deck at the back of the boat to snap some great photos. It was sunny and some sun protection would be... More

We chose Bleu Wave Cruises because we wanted to get out on the lake on a smaller vessel than the large paddle boats. The captain and crew were very pleasant and easy to talk with. I had a special request for the captain, and he took my request personally and made sure I had everything I needed. I was very... More

If you have a couple of hours and the weather is good the trip from Zephyr Cove to Emerald Bay and back is a great way to see the southern portion of Lake Tahoe. As other reviewers have noted there is a nice blend of music and narrative to complement the spectacular scenery. With good weather you'll want to claim... More

We took the 11:00a.m. boat tour and we we're picked up at our hotel door. Glen was our van driver and he did a great job and told us some interesting stuff. We arrived at the boat and Glen even made sure everyone got in the correct line to get our tickets. Our boat crew did a great job in... More

Nice boat. 70' yacht. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking around the lake and into Emerald Bay. We drove around the lake the day before so this was fun to see Emerald Bay and the Castle from the water. A little disappointed with the gourmet lunch-Deli meat , cut rolls and tortilla chips (not Doritos or other flavored chip) & Salsa... More

Even though the weather during our cruise wasn't optimal, (cold, rainy with occasional snow), the staff ensured the trip was fun for all. Ours was a lunch cruise with sandwich makings, chips and salsa, salad, and more. The food was made available once we were under way - and so were the drinks. Our boat wasn't full, so there was... We were disappointed in our Heavenly experience, so thankfully, this left us on a high note in Tahoe. The cruise is pretty fairly priced and does include a deli-type of lunch and 2 beverages on board (soda, hot cocoa, etc). The tour goes across the water and over to Emerald Bay, viewing Vikingsholm, the tea "point" in the Bay, and... More
