We had a great time on our 2 hour extended ride at Camp Richardson Stables. We took Michael's advice (he takes reservations) and got up early for the 8 am ride; the weather was perfect, and the trail wasn't too dusty. We rode through trees with plenty of shade to Fallen Leaf Lake, where our guide, Lonnie, took pictures of... more

Very friendly staff, the cabins are quaintly situated near the lake! Inside amenities are modern, clean, nicely decorated. The roads are well maintained for easy access around the snow! The cabins contains refrigerator brand new stoves, shelves dishes, and comfy beds and modern plumbing! Perfect for a family reunion! more

It would be hard to find a better value in Tahoe. The campgrounds are spacious and offer some degree of privacy. Overall, I would consider the sites to be even better than many KOA's I have seen at a lot less money. Camp Rich is also a very short walk to the lake or a brief drive to downtown and... more
