This is a beautiful place. The paths are paved. lots of parking and simply serene and breathtaking scenery. We absolutely loved out visit. recommend bringing a bike or renting one from Shoreline rental company nearby on Kahle street. We wish we discovered this sooner during out stay as we would have visited more often.

We could not have asked for a nicer day, to sight see. The lake was like glass, the beach was deserted, and there was no wind. Took some nice pictures as we went around most of the entire lake. The vista points were very crowded, as it was MLK weekend. No snow, but my knee was not up to it... More

we love this place. it has a lot of activities for winter and summer. we usually go here for ski in winter, but we also visit here for summer activities. the best thing we like to do here is to rent a boat and cruise around the lake. wonderful experience. I highly recommend the boat rental. the price may be... More

Hello all! Mark Twain had it right when he described the incomparable views at Lake Tahoe and living in the valley in Carson City, we have many opportunities to visit. While I can't add much to all the wonderful things already said, I would strongly encourage all visitors to the eastern shore to make time to walk down to the... More

Sand Harbor on a hot summer day, there is no other place to be. The sand reminds you of a Hawaiian beach and so does the Sun. It's a busy place so you will want to go there during an earlier day in the week if you're going to go there after 11 am. otherwise you need to be there... More

We always enjoy going to Lake Tahoe. This time we chose to spend time in Incline Village in Nevada rather staying in the busier South Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed the many views of the lovely lake and did lots of exploring where ever and whenever we had the opportunity. Rental are available on the Lake ...water is quite cold for... More

We enjoyed a leisurely drive around Lake Tahoe today stopping at lots of the viewing points and some of the towns. What stunning scenery!!!! It is late in the season at the moment but I can imagine the beautiful lake filled with sailing boats. The water is magnificent - in some places you can see three distinct colour stages ranging... Although the tourist season was over, the fall beauty and relative quietness of both North and South Lake Tahoe is hard to forget. Temperatures were very comfortable in the day time, and all of the shopping and most of the attractions seem to continue. A nice ride away from Reno or Carson City, NV as well.

There are several gorgeous beaches on Lake Tahoe but the Nevada State Beach has very few people and blissful scenery of the lake with mountain views . There are no retail establishments for food and drink . There is a nice path built over the sand to the beach and clean restrooms . Perfect for the ultimate relaxation.
