I was an expert skier gone old...now I love any resort without lift lines and reasonable rates- Diamond Peak gets an A+++- I could ski non-stop for 2 hours and get in 12+ runs and call it a day. Can't say enough good things about this mountain- beautiful views. Runs and elevation are limited- but for a retired skier who... More

We also offer a very affordable Senior and Super Senior season pass so you can go straight to the lifts and save more time for the slopes. Thanks for taking the time to write such a great review. -Jackie More

Skied here a couple of years ago and forgot what a great place this is. Well groomed and lots of runs for every level. Had lunch on the top of the mountain and the food was great and the view was super. Everyone was very friendly and our server for lunch was very cute.

Wild Bill’s BBQ at Snowflake Lodge does have wonderful views, food, and early happy hour from 2-4pm. See you on the slopes here again soon, hopefully sooner than a couple of years this time! - Jackie More

this is a small ski resort but with all the amenities. A good mix of skiing terrain for all levels. Amazing views of the lake. Can't beat the price! The pleasant, helpful staff and shockingly good food was an added plus

Snowflake Lodge has the best views for lunch in Tahoe and fantastic slow-smoked BBQ fare. If it’s nice you can sit on the deck, or if it’s chilly you can stare out the window at the lake next to a warm fireplace. -Jackie More

We have booked a couple of beginner friends and family ski lessons for a group of 5 in the past year. My kids and I always enjoy the schoolhouse slope all day. We are not confident enough to try the other slopes at this time. We took advantage of Costco gift cards for the resort which is 80$ for 100$... More

On the deck we also have our new Wild Bill’s BBQ with slow smoked meats and homemade BBQ sauces you can try next time. My favorites are the pulled pork and trip tip. Inside there is usually a daily rice bowl special and pasta special if you want to switch it up from the normal ski resort choices. See you... More

Choose the resort because it is small and would be a good start to ski season. Were we wrong. Mob of people, massive wait in ticket line, 45 minutes. Dumbest system I have ever seen. Lift lines not bad waits about 10-15 minutes but runs crowded. Lots of beginners on blue slopes where they didn't belong. Found many of the... More

Holidays do get pretty busy in the ticket lines but if you arrive right when we open, at 8am, you should have no problem getting a parking spot and ticket quickly. Hope you come back on a regular day and have a better experience. - Jackie More

We had a blast skiing Diamond Peak. It's location in Incline Village makes it so easy to be dropped off and on a lift in no time! Great, long blue runs with AMAZING powder. Good restaurants at the top of lifts. Great place where the locals go! Not as glamorous as Heavenly and Northstar, but I appreciated the smaller size... More

You can even ski right to your car if you park on the sides of the lift or down the slope. Check out our early happy hour at Snowflake Lodge from 2-4pm with $3 drink specials. See you next time! - Jackie More

This ski resort was actually only 2km from my condo in Incline village were I was going to University at Sierra Nevada University. I Never one went to this ski resort as much better northern Lake Tahoe ski resorts are all withen 30 km. (Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Etc.) This is a city owned ski resorts so everything that is done... More

We actually have some great expert terrain open this year since we have so much snow. Check out the tree skiing, Eagle Bowl, and Solitude Canyon if you are looking for something more challenging for an affordable price and with less crowds. - Jackie More

Skied for two days during New Year's Holiday. Very easy to get in/out with free hotel shuttle(we stayed at Hyatt). Lower mountain was crowd. Upper mountain was much better, no lines in Crystal Express. Finally, amazing view of the lake from the peak.

Crystal Ridge might just have the best views in Tahoe! It was actually named one of the top 100 ski trails in the world by CNN travel. - Jackie More

We end up here for afternoon skiing (this is the only ski resort around Lake Tahoe offering lift ticket at reduced price after 12:30) and because lift ticket where much cheaper than other ski resort. But this could be a good illustration of "pay peanut get monkeys..." We arrived at 11:30, all car parks were full, we have been advised... More
