3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014 NEW

Went with my grandchildren. It is a good place, but with the heat here in the summer all you do is look at lions sitting in their cooler boxes. Boring....owners should think up a little bit of entertainment for the patrons....schedule five minutes of something each half hour. Would not recommend at this time.

This place lets you get as close is as safe to see the lions. Had a few little cubs bouncing around and apparently you can buy time with them. My two boys were with me and they really enjoyed seeing the big ones. Good place for families and visitors to the area.

Twenty minutes outside of Las Vegas and well worth a visit! Even if you don't appreciate animals, this place is amazing. Loads of lions in well maintained, excellent conditions. The lions all looked so happy and contented. This is a self funding facility which relies on donations and entrance fee's and is well worth supporting!

I an so glad that I learned about the Lion Habitat Ranch! We decided to take the private tour ($100), which got us in the facility before it opened to the public. Samantha was our guide. She is very knowledgable about the animals in their care. She took her time touring the facility with us. We had a million questions... More

My family of 4 went to the habitat on our vacation. It is a great place for anyone to go to. The couple that run the habitate are very present, they got in the cage with the cats and interacted with them so we could see. We visited with them and they answered questions. Another keeper fed the lions while... More

It was so amazing to see the cats so close even thought I couldn't touch any. They are obviously well taken care of and the keeper giving the tour was very knowledgeable.

It was very hot and the cats were all resting after their play time with their trainers in their pools. I asked the trainer the best time to see them most active and he said right at 11am when the habitat opens and the cats are happy to see the trainers. Two of the trainers were inside lounging with some... More

We were pleased at the size and cleanliness of the facility, as well as the fact that there were multi-generations and several different age ranges of the lions and lionesses. Baby, Teen, and Adult - and they all seemed happy and engaged (except when snoozing). :)

So sad to see these beautiful lions in a cage without anything from their natural environment. The babies are taken from their mother and are bottled feed and are raised in cages with nothing in them. I ask myself why? Don't get me wrong I love well kepted zoos. This habitat is like a lion jail. The lions have a... More
