90 % of the businesses were closed. I felt so bad for the business owners trying to still hang on. It's a mad made fake lake and that's exactly how it feels.. manufactured. Don't waste your time. Hopefully they can get it worked out because it obviously cost a freaking fortune to fill and develop. Big disappointment and we took... More

Stayed at the Aston for the weekend of quiet and relaxation. Is very adequate for that. No food service, but there are restaurants, the Hilton and Westin for than. Is lovely and dog friendly and close enough to the strip or other to enjoy, but the lake is lovely and peaceful.

Very peaceful & beautiful. Loved the peace away from the Vegas strip. Only about 12 miles from the strip.

If you like to gamble its not for you as its a little out of the way with little night activity. There is a beautiful pool and golf course. Very pretty. The rooms are large and luxurious.

Both restaurants at the hotels offered a nice variety of selection and price. The service and quality waas top notch. The head chef is doing a fine job reestablishing the hotel as a top destination to relax and enjoy!

Now, places are closed and it looks like the economy is affecting this area. During the weekdays there is nothing going on. Only a few places open to eat. Cost of food $20 and up. Not as nice as I remember. It did look like there is a stage for shows.....maybe on the weekends or holidays.

It's true: the recession dealt an alarming blow to Lake Las Vegas resort. But, in the past few months, this glorious masterplan has begun to turn the corner. True, many shops are still closed, but the golf courses still play and there are at leas three good places to eat. There is an easy exit road from Sunset and Boulder... More

This resort could be amazing, but unfortunately it seems rather sad and overlooked. The Casino has now shut down as have most of the shops and restaurants. It has been styled so well, and the Hilton and Lake are very pretty. Hopefully things will improve soon. Really pleased we weren't staying here, but just visiting for the afternoon.

Although it is not as bustling as in the past, Lake Las Vegas Resort is definitely a place to visit. There are cute shops, wonderful restaurants and live entertainment on summer weekends. Check for the many special events that are fun. The lake is a beautiful backdrop and the setting is quaint and unexpected.
