Played Rio the first weekend of Nov...was a bit chilly but the course was in great shape and the staff was most helpful. From the time of our arrival to the end of a spectacular round it was enjoyable scenery and conditions. It is worth the greens fees and the drive from The Strip to play this golf course as... More

Played there with colleagues and could not believe how nice the course is. It is carved out of the mountain and canyons. Spectacular views are everywhere and desert wildlife are present, thankfully, not a snake though. The course was in great shape and is very challenging to say the least. Excellent rental equipment and well equipped carts make this an... More

We recently played the Rio Secco course and had a late morning tee time. I must say the course itself is a great test of golf and has wonderful vistas. However there is ZERO water to drink on the course and they only give you one small bottle per golfer in an ice bucket. At the turn the halfway house... More

Greens is great shape and rolled true. Lightning quick running at 11 of stimp. In onther review it talks about painting grass. I came upon this only once... More

I have played Rio Secco several times over the past 7 years and it was once the home of the best greens in Vegas. But even they would admit that the condition in 2006 & especailly 2007 was poor. I played it again in November 2008 and found the conditioning closer to the old Rio Secco. Would go back again... More

We never got to play the course. We had a tee time for 3 months in advance through Private Club Network. When we arrived we called to confirm and ask if we could get an earlier tee time. We were told yes. When we arrived the club pro told us that they would not honor the PCN price since we... More

This is a rip-off. They are slowly killing all of the grass in the fairways. If you do not expect to hit your golf ball off of grass, this is a great place to play and pay $100 or more for the privilege. To give the illusion of grass in the fairways, management has painted green the stubble, weeds, and... More
