The reasons for doing South Rim Grand Canyon tour with Maverick is that by flying down by plane we got to see the entire Grand Canyon including the last remaining Native Indian village inside the Grand Canyon as well as Hoover Dam, Lake Mead etc as well as a great helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon itself. This must be the best way to see the grand canyon. Right from the word "Go" this outfit are very good, the only downside was that they were late in picking us up from our hotel - to be fair it was only 5-10 minutes outside but it was a cold morning. This trip was amazing. I did the sunset tour coming back to see the lights of vegas. Very safe and professional. Pilots had a good knowledge of the area and sights,.great background music and a site to see. Expensive but worth the money. More

This was a great trip to the grand canyon with Maverick airplane excursions.From being picked up at our hotel doing the tour then being dropped off back at our hotel everthing was first class and took about six hours.The trip which took us to the Western Territory also included the Skywalk which was optional.The flight took about half an hour... We booked an airplane tour to the Grand Canyon, whilst we were in flight the weather changed and we weren't able to land and had to return to Vegas. Not the best afternoon ever but the staff at Maverick were excellent, kept us well informed, processed full refunds promptly and got us back to our hotel. More

Went with Maverick to the West end of the canyon. Got picked up in time, short ride to Hendersons Executive airfield, where we boarded the plane. Checking in went smoothly, nice little shop with restrooms in the waiting area. Took us about 30 minutes to fly over to the Canyon. Very nice flight over the Canyon, excellent pilots. From this...
