As someone who hails from Canada, this golf experience had to be unique. The course itself didn't disappoint - I played the Desert nine and the Founders nine. On Desert, off-fairway shots often require you to hit out of rocks strewn around a natural desert hardpan surface. If you're bringing your own clubs, follow the advice of a fellow player... More

The design is good, great bunkering and diversity of holes. I was disappointed that they only overseed the tees and greens. I know it is a budget issue these days. There are 3 nines, the one that was closed looked like it was in the better condition of all 3, would have liked to play that one. There was very... More

After meeting with Illa Smith at Black Mountain and seeing the banquet hall and beautiful porch, I knew this was the place for my wedding. The wedding was set in the morning an Illa arranged a beautiful brunch with a champagne toast. The DJ, photographer, food, venue, gratuity and tax were all included in the quoted price!! No hassles or... More

We were very disappointed in this golf experience. The fairways were spotty with a lot of dormant/dead grass and the greens were being seeded with no visable grass. The course sits off noisy streets and the houses lining the course are less than desirable (some had bars on them). The driving range has no grass and is rock/dirt covered. Back... More

Was in Vegas for a short visit and wanted get in a round of golf. I asked a friend who lives there and he suggested Black Mountain, as he had not ever played there also. We checked the "tripadvisor" for any comments and was surprised to see one comment that wasn’t very positive, but we went anyway. What a great... More

We were looking for a moderately priced round of golf and ended up at Black Mountain. What a surprise for us to see what a beautiful course it is with quick and well-maintained greens. I understand that they have taken out over 50 acres of turf to become more eco-friendly. This doesn't detract at all, but actually enhances the beauty... More

Came out to Vegas last month on a Golf vacation and this was one of the first courses we visited. To be honest, it was ok. 27 holes was a plus but after the first 9 I could have skipped playing the rest. The course conditions weren't that great for the price we paid and the overall experience was mediocre.... More

We golfed Silverstone the day before. Had a great time there. Showed up at 10 am for a 12 noon tee time. Really twilight rates. Unlike Silverstone getting us out early and not extracting more cash they wanted an extra $25 per person for a total of $75 per round pp. That would have been fine if the course was... More
