Went down to the springs with some friends for a soak. We were able to order some drinks, which according to server they just started doing YAH!, unwind and enjoy some amazing scenes of nature. I recommend taking a soak and enjoying the sunset!

Amazing hotsprings in the middle of a meadow nestled in the mountains - it's a little drive outside of Minden, but the town it is in (Markleeville) is quite cute.
Never busy, always relaxing.

These facilities have seen their better days but the new owners are making improvements to the hot springs/pool area. A new restaurant helps with the overall overnight stay. The spa leaves nothing to be desired and the changing rooms and showers need an overhaul.

David Walley's is truly in the middle of nowhere but absolutely incredible - surrounded by snowcapped mountains, colorful fields, wildlife and simple beauty. We were in the older section (yet to be updated) but absolutely no concerns with the rooms. In fact, it was one of the most spacious rooms with an amazing master bath! The hot springs did not...
