On our way to Reno, my husband & I stopped here for a relaxing soak. It was not very crowded and we elected to use the big pool instead of the private rooms they offered. The temperature I thought was perfect and the "hammer" was a great masseuse on my tired back. The jets on the spa also seemed to... More

Your body will feel so much better along with your skin after the experience. I actually feel sorry for the type of person who wrote the terrible review... More

The hot springs is plumbed into a concrete swimming pool (and some private tubs) and has tall fences around it. Unlike some hot springs, this one has no scenery. However, the water is still wonderful, good hot spring mineral water. Worth going to for a hot water soak.

This historic hot springs has a wonderful and knowledgeable staff and great management. You can get an all day pool pass or reserve a private room at varying temperatures, depending on how hot you like it! The restaurant next door, Sassafras, will serve you food and beverages poolside.

I love the hammer which gives a massage and to fill up a jug of water to drink for later. It could be very romantic also with the private rooms and the new fire pit is a nice touch.

This place is a bit rough around the edges, but the healing waters are worth going for. Pay a bit more and get the private tub room that can hold a small group. You can use this exclusive room for two hours time, choosing a tub by the posted water temp. on the board at the front desk. This is... More

After a day of skiing at Diamond Peak we went to Carson City & Hot Springs via Virginia City. The springs were easy to find & get to. As it so happened we were there on a discount day. The area was in good shape. We found the outside 98 degree pool enjoyable. The warmer 104 degree jetted tub was... More

While I enjoyed a private spa tub, which was clean and the water soothing, the bathroom/changing area left a lot to be desired. The woman's area is way too small for the amount of users - one toilet, one shower, and one small changing area with a curtain. The floor is continually wet and unappealing to walk on. The price... The Carson hot springs has a swimming pool with delicious 100 F water, it also has private tubs with variable temperature water. Very basic, nothing fancy. What I really didn't like was seeing rust on the private spas, actually, I don't think these tubs get cleaned that often which is kind of gross... The place is OK, and I definitely... More
