New location at 716 N. Carson St. is great! Right downtown. Friendly and informed staff know the whole region and can direct you to whatever you want to experience. Be sure to check out the FREE VisitCarsonCity app for your phone. Very helpful tool for travelers. Great new merchandise for souvenirs.

We love Carson City and visit often. There is a lot of history there. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. You can spend the entire day walking/driving around from place to place. Love all of the state buildings.

The person I spoke with could not answer some basic questions about the area. It was almost like they wanted me to take my family to Lake Tahoe or Virginia City instead of seeing Carson City.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of information about Carson City, Lake Tahoe, and Nevada in general. Free maps of the Kit Carson walking trail, which I'd had a hard time finding online. Free tea or coffee; souvenirs available for sale. Open daily 9-6, at least during the summer tourist season.

Very friendly and knowledgeable attendants here. Learned a little more about the area during our brief visit. Disappointed to see there weren't a few more souvenirs though.

Very nice helpful folks that are here to serve your vacation needs, let them know your likes and they will come up with suggestions to help you enjoy the day. Easy access from the main road also, with clean rest room and lots of interesting places to visit.

I had a chance to attend a conference World Peace Summit at the Carson City Convention Center and was pretty amazed at the ease of parking, entry and courteous staff. The property is well designed and aesthetic as well. The conference hall is wel-equipped and spacious. Probably they could do with upgrading the toilet facilities a bit. Very satisfying!

The staff was very friendly and informative. They had just finished moving from the old location and had not finished setting up. Beyond that - a good source for information about things to do in the area.

We have stopped by the Carson City Convention & Visitors Bureau. It is close to the Nevada Railroad Museum. Their staff is very nice here and provides helpful information. They also have an excellent web site. I often times refer to it when I plan to visit the area. The web site has a very helpful list of current events... More

Carson city has grown even with in the past year. Hidden gem - fun interesting history in this very modern day city. The mint museum was great. The drive of the pony express - the casinos - shopping
