This was my second visit to the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, NE and it was even better than the first. Many more exhibits and engine displays. Everything updated and new granite floors. Even if you have been before, you need to return to see all the new exhibits/displays. John MacKichan, Museum Head of Operations, gave us a tour... More

A fantastic place to visit in Lincoln, Nebraska whether you are staying in Lincoln or just traveling through. Beautiful old cars, hot rods and everything else you can vision about the history of automobiles and speed. Even for one who is not a car buff, this was fun to see and a lot of history to learn about. Kids will... More

This was my first visit to the Museum of American Speed and it was everything I had heard about it and more. The massive exhibits contained engines and racing history that overwhelmed me. In my 76 years as a car nut I have never experienced the extent and quality of these exhibits. Every car nut needs to put this Museum... More

Not only is this museum a must-do for any car or racing enthusiast, but also for those auto-related toy collectors. This museum has the most extensive collection of pedal cars on the planet! The Museum of American Speed was one of the highlights for us on the recent National Corvette Caravan.

A must see museum with something for everyone. I'm not a racing fan, but loved every minute of our two and a half hour tour. There are restroom breaks offered during the tour as needed. There is also some stairs to climb, but an elevator is available. The history and the display collections are unbelievable. There is so much to... More
