After going through this museum, I want to go back again, and again. There is so much to see and learn about. I especially enjoy learning about the history of racing and some of the people that pioneered the industry. I will definitely be going back to make sure I haven't missed a thing. If you plan on going, make... More

We were invited as part of a University Engineering event to come out and have some dinner and see the museum. I'm very much involved in engineering, design, and racing and have been for 40 years. I did not expect to see something like this in Lincoln NE and was blown away. From pedal cars to nascar, lunch boxes to... More

Lots to see and great story telling from the tour guides. If you have any affinity to automobiles and/or motorsports, give this place an afternoon.

First and foremost, read the other reviews as this is not for everyone. That being said, I am not a gear head or huge racing fan. I had a few hours to kill and stumbled upon this on TripAdvisor. There was about 20 or so people that showed up so they split us into two groups. It is over 2... More

The Museum at Speedway Motors is packed full of beautifully restored race cars of many types, engines, odd collectibles, and much more. Any race fan passing through Lincoln, Nebraska really should take a couple of hours to take the tour.

This is an outstanding museum for technical or historical race fans. Not for the casual fan though, they would get bored with all the engines and parts. I loved it but my kids were a bit bored because they didn't understand all the technical stuff. All in all, a very extensive collection and we'll worth the time for someone who... More

One of the most comprehensive car museums I've been to. Absolutely a must see. I can honestly say it is one of the coolest car, parts collections available to see anywhere.

An amazing place -- if you're a gearhead. Hundreds of cars, all that DOHC, RPM -- not a place to just admire race cars. It's not for the casual fan. Some interesting quirks -- the museum says it also has the largest collection of pedal cars in the universe. Fascinating.

This is an excellent display of classic and speed cars. They are well displayed with information about them.
