Nice place for young children

We visited there several weeks ago with our 1 year and a half old daughter. She loved the water area so much! It was really a great place for children to play at.

We have an annual pass and my kids love this place. Its a great place to go in winter time when kids are tired of being cooped up in the house. Entertainment for all ages!!

I visited the LCM almost every week in June and my 3 & 1 year old truly enjoyed it each time. They never got bored because there are quite a few exhibits to explore and some favorites to revisit. The apple picking was always exciting. A child can't go wrong with any exhibits because they all build and encourage imagination!

great place to kill a few hours and let the kids run wild -- there were 3 levels of activities, not much in the way of amenities (food/drink) but that's OK -- it's just a place for children to be children

Used to be a member of it when our kids were a bit younger. They STILL ask to go there occasionally! One of the best museums for kiddos around!

A great place to take the kids. It is set up for young kids under 12. Plan on brining a book to read, as the kids will be spending a few hours here.

Three levels of imaginative fun for the kids, kept us busy on a rainy afternoon for many hours! Lots to see, do, touch, listen to, talk about, try & experience. Somewhat pricey for admission, but you can plan to be busy for many hours. Vending machines with snacks & drinks available.

We visited the Children's Museum with a 1 year old, 3 year old, and a 6 year old and it cost us $50 just to get in the door. Costs a third of that to get into a water park and a water park is supervised. There seemed to be very little oversight here, just a bunch of kids running... More

We had our daughters 3rd birthday at the museum. We chose the deluxe package (which seemed to stretch our dollar the furthest). The staff were great to us, they helped escort our late guests to the party room, helped carry our gift bags, carried on polite conversation and gave discreet reminders as to how much time we had left in... Was a fun place for kids to play and explore. Our favorite because of age of children was the prairie tunnels in the basement and firetruck and tractor on the main floor. Many places for kids to play and use their imagination.
