The guided tour is very interesting, not too long, and just enough information. Very well done. The art work, paintings, mosaics, tapestries, etc. is just fascinating to see. Don't skip going to the top of the tower, either! We really enjoyed our tour!

If you get a chance to visit Pinewood Bowl Theatre in Lincoln Nebraska then do so!! its fabulous! We saw Ray Lamontagne perform there and it was great. Not only is the sound great and the stage set up is superb, just being in such beautiful surroundings and experiencing fabulous music in an outdoors setting. The vendors are extremely friendly... Too much history to pass up, despite the nickname, it is a pretty cool building to tour. When you are in Lincoln you need to go.

When visiting states, I try to take a capitol tour if I can and this was a good one. It really captures the character of what I found in the state. A tip: the signage is not good and it took us a while to find where to go in on a Saturday. It is on the second floor of... More

While in Lincoln recently, our group took the guided tour of this unique building. Our guide was very bright and truly loved her job! Our questions were answered and we came away with an extra appreciation of this cool landmark.

It was fun go go up to the top of the capitol and view the city. Those are some ancient elevators! Was fun.

If at all possible try to get a guided tour thru this amazing building. The architecture, history and the people who built this wonderful building on America's Midwest plains is not to be missed. Nebraska has the only unicameral in America, which in itself is interesting. But the beauty of this building is awe inspiring. The tour guides keep young... More

This capitol was the subject of many many many school trips during my school years. As an adult I have visited here a handful of times and also been there on business. It is a wonderful place to spend an hour or 4 hours! Take the tour...you won't regret it!
