Amazing place

We visited this amazing garden in fall. It was quiet and colorful. Few flowers, but golden trees around this garden. It was really amazing.

This garden is mostly annuals. Beautiful when the tulips pop up and produces spectacular waves of color all summer long until frost. Designed by the professional staff, It is planted by volunteers and put to bed for the winter by most of the same folks. The permanent plantings and the hostas in the shade area are a cool pleasant spot... More

This may sound silly but whenever I have something on my mind or need to have a discussion with my son, I end up here. It is a quiet place ion the middle of the city. It is beautiful and has nice benches to sit and read or think. It is always well kept and clean. Usually not to many... More

Every season this garden spot has a theme, and every season it's spectacular. Plan on about 30 minutes to really check out the entire garden walk and look at the incredible koi fish. People get married here (I did!), and it's easy to see why. Lovely and historical. Check out how this garden got started and you'll have to stop... More

Especially in the spring & summer, this is a wonderful place to visit. Really small, 1/2 block, but packed with flowers. Very peaceful.

I've literally driven past this spot my whole 45 years of life, and never stopped. Always thought I should, but somehow, never have. Finally, we dedicated a morning to visit this and the rose garden across the street to the east. Very glad we did. The beauty of the gardens helps you forget you are next to a busy intersection.... Please take a few minutes ... Or an hour ... your choice ... and wander around the Sunken Gardens. You can bring food and drink if you like. The gardens feature gorgeous and often older varietals that aren't commonly found. The master gardeners of Lincoln work with Park Department for a jewel of a place to find quiet and beauty.
