Enjoy this beautiful, well maintained garden, whether you have just a few minutes or extra time on your hands. Much was in bloom in early September and for viewers with botanical interests, there is a list of plants available. Friendly workers (volunteers?) were on site and were helpful answering a few questions. Free parking was plentiful on the nearby streets.

Great use of a park. Love the thought put into the planting and placement. Great idea Lincoln! The way they change plantings for each season is wonderful.

A very nice calming environment with a surprisingly large variety of vegetation. It was obvious that the caretakers took pride in their work. This is not an "exciting" place to visit, but it a very nice respite.

We loved the sunken gardens and spent 2 hours walking around see all the different flowers, shrubs, and pond lilies. The coy fish even came up for a look see. The gardens are very well taken care of by the caretakers.
