The Sunken Gardens are a nice enough place to spend a little while. There is free parking, many paths and benches, as well as public restrooms. Not too much was in bloom when I visited in late May. The garden itself is located on the corner of two very busy streets, so It's hard to escape the noise. Also there... More

It is quite small, but so delicately decorated and designed! When I visited there was a group of sonority girls taking pictures there, also that was a little rain coming... but still a short walk in the garden would do wonders for your stay in Lincoln.

This small area is designed to help you relax and enjoy beauty. The plants are colorful and well tended. I would recommend this garden to anyone that is looking for a place to get away from the pace of life and enjoy flowers. There is a goldfish pond as well that is the centerpiece of the garden.

If you haven't been-go! Any time of the year, this place is stunning, and meticulously kept. Great place for a date, picnic, let kids run around, etc. They frequently have weddings here also. It's beautiful!!!

Visited over the weekend (August 3rd) and this place looked amazing. For the time of the year and the lack of rain recently, the gardens looked incredible. Koi ponds and lilies were pretty. I would recommend stopping by Sunken Gardens if you have a few free minutes to enjoy the scenery.

We visit the Sunken Gardens whenever we're in or passing through Lincoln, NE. The garden is different every year. The waterfall and pools filled with koi and lily pads are gorgeous. This year in mid June, the lily pads were in bloom with brilliant pink, yellow, and white flowers. It's also small in size, so one doesn't need much time... More

Sunken gardens is a wonderful floral display area. It changes through the year going through various phase. Many people don't know that it is built on the site of a former landfill. The flowers the steps, the poo completely complement each other. Well worth the trip.

Walked through the gardens while we were in town for a university visit. They were so pretty! A large variety of flowers, ponds, fountains and a waterfall, and paths. Plenty of places to sit and take it all in. I've been to Lincoln many times and have never seen this before, glad I saw it on TA! It was neat... More
