Stunning little gem

We went twice to see this little gem in our three day stay in Lincoln, The colors are outrageous and the sculptures are beautiful. Lots of bees.

The Sunken Gardens is a little oasis just off of major Lincoln roads, and if you are looking to just quietly sit or stroll some well kept garden plantings, this is a wonderful way to spend a little time. Beautifully kept, immaculate, peaceful.

The Sunken Garden is a beautiful little spot to visit to give your senses a lift. Built during the depression as part of a public works project, the gardens are full of gorgeous flowers and plants. It isn't a big space but it's unique design and well cared for flowering gardens make it a lovely place to spend an hour... More

The garden is fantastic! I never imagined a garden with so many different flowers/plants like that. It made me dazzled when I visit there the first time.

Ive lived in Lincoln for less then a year and just heard about this place yesterday. I immediately grabbed my camera and went to check this place out. Wow! This place is truly amazing! There are several water features filled with Koi fish, Annuals, Perennials and several cool trees!

This garden, set down from the street, is filled with beautiful flowers, koi ponds, statues, and waterfalls. Highly recommended!

Needed to get out and do something. Absolutely beautiful landscaping and grounds! Coi pond with lily pads, benches to sit and enjoy the beauty, all on a busy street corner. Makes you feel separated from the world. If you enjoy beautiful plants, water and peace stop by and enjoy. Not crowded and FREE!!

Immaculate, beautiful, pristine and fun! Adults will love this as well as the little ones. I take my grandchildren when we can. The goldfish ponds are great and there are some really big guys in them. The statues are beautiful and the falling water is soothing. There are plenty of places to sit down, and the bathrooms are clean and... More

My family have visited this garden for the past 15 years. We have always enjoyed our annual visit. This garden has an ever changing theme in their arrangements. Every planting is tastefully done, well arranged and cared for. Always wonder how they manage it repetitively without charging admission. For those visitors well versed in plants and flowers, this is their... More
