I am going to combine my comments for a number of attractions in Lincoln (Nebraska) because their names are self-explanatory as far as their nature is concerned. Each is an outstanding place to visit if you are in Lincoln and looking for a particular type of entertainment, i.e. for children, adults, etc. I live in Lincoln and have been to... More

You can easily see this whole zoo in a day, but if you want to dig in deeper, there are days worth of things to learn. Every year they just keep making it better. The variety keeps little minds interested: animal exhibits and shows, playground, nice lunch shop, educational classes and camps, interactive exhibits, digging for bones in a huge... More

I went to the Lincoln zoo with my brother and his daughter and my son. It was a interactive zoo however everything cost extra ,i guess that's normal. It was a good way to kill some time. You can get through it within 2 hours easy. It's a very cute little zoo.

This is a great zoo for Children. Not so big that you have to worry about parking or getting lost. You can spend an hour or even more if you want. True it is not the Spectacular Henry Dorley Zoo, but kids love it!

We love the zoo. We can spend an hour or two, which is great with small children. My three year old granddaughter loves it. Fun play areas. Lots of opportunity to interact with animals. You can pet snakes, lizards, goats, llamas, etc. rWe are zoo members and visit three or four times a year. Nice mix, with an annual visit... More

Don't expect this to compare with Henry Doorly, but, this is definitely a good time-killer for the kids. Our girls love it. There is also a train that takes you on the outside of the zoo to see everything. Worth a try.

I took my grandchildren here and what a huge disappointment. This place is way to small to have any animals. It's ridiculous how small the enclosures are for these animals. The train ride was fun. I don't recommend anyone go here. I do recommend PETA coming here and see the horrible living conditions. The poor horses looked so sad, they... More

The Lincoln Zoo in enjoyable for a smaller city like Lincoln. If I let my kids roam, I don't feel like I am going to lose them like I might at a larger zoo. They have some nice snacks and food options if you want to eat there and not leave.

Lots of hands on experiences. Staff is terrific. Zoo treats animals like they are thier children and interaction between visitors and animals is encouraged. Education is part of the experience and the zoo has a Zoo School (part of the Lincoln Public School system). Several special classes and demonstratins for visitors. Zoo is hanidicapped accessable and very well laid out.

This zoo is great for families. It's big enough for little kids for an afternoon outting. Lots of great animals there, and treated great. Also have train and pony rides. My kids love to go there often.
