We had a great time at this zoo. Just the right size for little people. They can easily walk from one place to another. Really enjoyed feeding the goats, butterfly house and playing in the sand as well as playground. The best part for our group was the train ride. Conductor was awesome and took some pictures of us. They are expanding but even with the construction, the train, animals and play areas offer plenty to do. The available food leaves a lot to be desired - but you can always bring your own as there is a picnic area! Great zoo for children!

This is the perfect place to take your children to see various animals. The zoo is not too big, allowing even small children to walk around the entire zoo. Be sure to ride the train too!

This was a fun little zoo with a great train ride around the perimeter to start things off. Unfortunately, it broke down on the first go round, and we had to walk up the graveled train track areas back to the entrance for a refund. My Dad could not walk that far, so they brought a wheelchair and we had... More

The Lincoln childrens museum is wonderful for little kids. There are a variety of animals many available to touch and see up close. My kids love the river otters, penguins, bobcat, and hive. You can stop and have lunch or pack your own. Only takes about 2 hours to go through.

What a great family alternative to the world-renowned zoo in nearby Omaha! This zoo is just the right size for a 3 hour visit to see just about everything you want to see, and take a ride on the train too. You won't leave feeling like you walked a marathon, but you won't feel like there wasn't anything to see... More

I personally enjoy this zoo for the easy walk and the closeness of all the animals. When you get to a large zoo and have to decide which animals to see, that's kind of a pain. This place makes it easy to spend two Hours and get through it at your own pace. Always recommended for your families as well... More

Very nice for small children. Stroller friendly. Not too large. Animals are very close. Very enjoyable. Several indoor exhibits for when the weather is bad. Zoo staff were very friendly and available and happy to answer questions. Several shows available to learn about specific animals. Nice small train that goes around the zoo and actually went around twice for the... More

We have a membership best money we ever spent!! Great place for families to go and great learning opportunities for kids, small enough to get through in an afternoon yet big enough to not get bored, they also have great food, and don't forget to get your train rides, the tunnel is the best part!!!

I can't say enough good things about this zoo. I bought a season pass because my kids loved it so much first time! The train ride was a great way to end the day. Parking is close which is so nice with young kids. We have been a couple times and still not seen everything, lots to see. Excited to... More
