Approximately 70 family members gathered at this park for our family reunion. We had reserved a large picnic shelter 2 months prior to our date. The park has swan boats & fishing, splash pads, and plenty of grassy areas for kids to run around. The picnic shelter provided needed shade from the sun for the older adults. Indoor restrooms are... This is a fun area to visit and walk. Taking children to the splash pool and on the lake would be a fun day. We like seeing all of the flowers and walking up to the top of the tower. It is quite a climb but the view is very nice once you get to the top. There are also... More

Yanney Park is beautiful. It is big enough that you can be alone even if it's busy. There is a water park, a tower to climb and see the beautiful view of Kearney, a bike, walk, running trail. You can fish, take a paddle boat ride, rent a bike or watch the family of swans.

This park is amazing. From the tower, to the bridge, to the 2 water parks, to the trails, to the fishing, to the paddles boats. This park has everything for a family to spend the entire day at.

WOW! What a beautiful park. Fun playground equipment for the kids. 2 splash pads. We went on the swan paddle boats and had a great time. Beautiful fountain, relaxing fishing areas. And a tower to look out at a breathtaking view(If you dare to climb it)

In addition to a modern Senior Citizens Center which provides a very low-cost lunch each day you'll find a climbing tower (including an elevator) which takes you high enough to have a great panoramic view of a large area of rural Nebraska. There is also a nice small lake stocked with several varieties of fish (including trout in the winter)... More

Yanney Heritage Park is truly a gem. It's so well designed and cared for that even if you're just traveling down Interstate 80 you'll want to take the Kearney exit and visit this fine 80 acre park. You have to see it to believe it. From it's observation tower to it's children's splash ground to it's lake with paddle boats... More

Two very large free splash pads for the kids. Great playgrounds. Walking trail. Large pond with swans. Time it right and you will see them swimming with their little ones. Also have paddle boats shaped like swans to rent. Go up in the tower and you can see for miles. In the summer the Little Theater puts on a free... More
