Came to see the marble and stone features of the building and was nice to see the museum open today so went in to cool off. Very nice inside and some interesting art. Wish we could of spent more time here but still had 500km to drive. Very nice and clean washrooms too especially the woman's.

Always a treat for the eyes. Went to see Jeni Homan's exhibit and was pleased to see the Kearney Public Schools show...nice to see young artists displayed in this amazing facility.

The Museum of Nebraska Art is a diamond in the rough. The museum provides the visitor the ability to see the many talents of local Nebraska artists. The art collections are rotated out on a regular basis so each visit you are bound to see a whole new collection. Well worth the trip into the center of Kearney to see... More

The art work in this museum is most interesting. The artists all have connections with Nebraska. The variety of art and the changing displays makes you want to continue to return to see what new things are being displayed.

A great little art museum focusing on Nebraska art, that is art done by people with significant connections to Nebraska or art done about Nebraska. When we visited there were several nice exhibitions, though much of the regular collection was being rearranged. This is the type of museum without a single "must see" piece but a place that you can... More

I have wanted to see this museum for many years. I was impressed with the depth of the collection. The museum is in the old library building and is wonderfully restored. Artists from all over Nebraska are represented. There was an impressive modern multi-media event having focus on my visit. I recommend the museum for a bit of culture for... More

This is a treasure hidden in Kearney. Yes, they advertise, but to truly appreciate the high quality, Nebraska art, the MONA is worth a visit!!

For a city the size of Kearney, I was surprise by the size of the collection, and the quality and variety of the artworks they have collected. If you are a fan of architecture, you may want to stop there just for the building. It's well curated and well maintained. It took us about 2 hours to enjoy this place.
