This is a great outdoor area just outside of Kearney. There is a frisbee golf course, tons of hiking trails, swimming, fishing and even a petting zoo for those who have small children. Also they have some awesome hills that make a great place to go sledding!

Full serivce park with playground. Start of a great hike-bike trail that you can get off and on for 11 miles. You can walk by a canal and a stream. Great scenery

Tis little out of the way lake was refurbished a few years ago and is a really food fishery for it's size. Boat or bank fishing can be fun.

Cottonmill Lake is a great place to relax and bring your fishing pole lots of good fishing not many people and an opportunity for a great day outside with the family. The best thing is it is free. There is a snackshack and a place to rent paddle boats. Tons of shaded picnic areas. There is also a small barn...
