I am familiar with paint-your-own pottery studios, however, Stumptown offers more than just pottery alone with their mosaics and glass fusion. This is great if you are only going to be in town for a short while and are not able to wait for your pottery to be fired... and don't want to pay exhorbitant postage fees to have your... More

This amazing non-profit art studio and gallery offers a place to make fused glass, make mosaic art and paint pottery and take art classes. It's a community art center and welcomes visitors. My grandkids love to make art when they come on vacation. Check online for their classes and art happenings.

On a rainy afternoon we wandered into the shop & painted several items. Great helpful staff, rushed our items through the kiln for early pick up, now have special mementos. A most lovely memory of whitefish.

I like doing the fused glass, where you arrange stained glass pieces and then they get melted together in a kiln. The staff is so helpful and willing to teach techniques. It's a great place to spend an afternoon making... More
